Washington: Vice-President Joe Biden's Wednesday kicked off with an acknowledgment that he had used a "poor choice of words." By day's end, he had put his foot in his mouth again. Twice.
Mr Biden opened the door to the possibility the United States could commit ground troops to fight the Islamic State in Iraq - a possibility the Obama administration has painstakingly avoided raising. That came shortly after he walked back his use of the word "Shylocks" and his use of the anachronistic term "Orient" to describe Asia.
Even for the gregarious and outspoken vice president, whose candour has all too often got him into hot water, the trio of eyebrow-raising remarks in about a 24-hour span was something to behold. Two of the "he said what?" moments came in Iowa, the first-in-the-nation caucus state where anyone thinking about running for president - a possibility Mr Biden has not ruled out - needs to make a good impression.

After leaving a rally in Des Moines, Mr Biden seemingly opened the door to committing ground troops to fight the Islamic State in Iraq, an option President Barack Obama himself rejected anew in remarks at MacDill Air Force Base on Wednesday. "The American forces that have been deployed to Iraq do not and will not have a combat mission," he said.a stop at a local diner, a reporter asked Mr Biden whether he agreed with the comments of Army General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who on Tuesday left the door open to the possibility of boots on the ground. "He said that if in fact he concluded that was needed he would request it from the president. His conclusion is that it is not needed now," Mr Biden responded.
But might it be needed? "We'll determine that based on how the effort goes," said Mr Biden.
At the rally, Mr Biden delivered an enthusiastic speech brimming with populist notes. But his message was overshadowed by his story of a meeting he had with Lee Kuan Yew, the former prime minister of Singapore. The story was meant as a compliment.
"On the way back from Mumbai to go meet with President Xi in China, I stopped in Singapore to meet with a guy named Lee Kuan Yew, who most foreign policy experts around the world say is the wisest man in the Orient," explained Mr Biden in his remarks at a kick-off rally for the Nuns on the Bus We the People, We the Voters bus tour.
Mr Biden's use of the word Orient was widely mentioned on social media. Some quickly denounced it.
"Vice-President Joe Biden's insensitive remarks are offensive to both Asian Americans and our Asian allies abroad," Ninio Fetalvo, the Republican National Committee Asian American and Pacific Islander spokesman, said in a statement. "His comment is not only disrespectful but also uses unacceptable imperialist undertones." Mr Fetalvo called on Mr Biden to apologise.
Hours earlier, Mr Biden had walked back his use of the word "Shylocks" in a Tuesday speech to describe lenders who foreclosed on members of the military after the head of a major Jewish organisation criticised him for it.
In a statement responding to Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman's disapproval, Mr Biden regretted his comment.
"He's correct, it was a poor choice of words, particularly as he said coming from 'someone as friendly to the Jewish community and open and tolerant an individual as is Vice President Joe Biden.' He's right," said Mr Biden.
Shylock is a Jewish character in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. He is a villain in the play who asks for a "pound of flesh" from another character who is unable to repay a loan.
For Mr Biden, the controversies resulted in far different headlines than he might have expected out of his Iowa trip. His speech there, which came just days after Hillary Rodham Clinton visited the state, was full of red meat for liberal activists.
With his sleeves rolled up, Mr Biden sounded off on immigration, taxes, voting rights and regulating Wall Street banks.
"Income inequity brings a drag on economic growth," he said. "Even Wall Street is concerned about this growing gap between the middle class, the poor and the wealthy."
On immigration, Mr Biden encouraged lawmakers to pass comprehensive reform. The people who come to America "are the people who have the most courage," he said.

Before I start let me just say that I vote Republican and that I am a political conservative. Some of you pricks are going to assume otherwise, as you sometimes do when I say something. While it is true that I am not uptight about gays being allowed to legally insert their penises into other men's anal cavities, that I am not uptight about a woman being able to undo a mistake and thereby save a child from poverty and an unloving home, that I do not get on my knees to suck christ cock, and so on, I am a Republican. Also, despite my avatar I am not a homo. It is a humorous picture. I have children and have been married.

It is quite absurd that I must make such disclaimers and disclosures prior to publishing my thoughts. However, I have come to expect, in the very short time I have been here, a lot of knee-reaction where you dimwits jerk to your default positions upon encountering one or more buzz words, thereby saving yourselves the chore of having to engage in painful, time consuming critical analysis. In fact, I have already said more than I am intending to say in the substantive part of my comment. This comment is supposed to be about Sarah Palin. However, here I am at the end of my second paragraph and I have not even got to the topic of my post because I am still trying to avert attempts to blow past anything I say in your feeble attempts to discredit what I decide to say simply because you idiots think you detect a particular slant to what I am saying and, thereby, jump to the conclusion that I am of a particular political leaning and, thus, my thoughts are not valid, or that they are of dubious legitimacy. So, before you fuckers knee-jerk-off, think about how it makes you look: like ignorant shit heads who lack the substance to thoughtfully consider and contemplate a particular matter.

Now, to the subject of Sarah Palin. I did not like this woman from the time I first learned who she is, which admittedly was when McCain picked her as his running mate in 2007. She is just not that smart. She cannot think on her feet. She cannot keep a running stream of bullshit going like a good politician can. Her family is white trash. I hate her whole affect when she talks. The only redeemable thing about her is that she is fuckworthy. I am not going to go into specific examples to support my assertion that she is an idiot. We all know these examples. As a republican, I tire of the damage being done by constantly having this moron associated with our party.

Now to the main point of my post. If you are like me and you hate the idiot Sarah Palin but you like the woman Sarah Palin, check out the films "Who's Nailin' Palin" and "Who's Nailin' Palin 2". In the first scene of the first movie you see Gov. Palin having an international summit with 2 officers of the Russian Army. In less than a couple minutes she is on her knees in front of them, servicing them both. What follows is an arousing act of detente that finally erupts in a dual gushing of perestroika all over Sarah's face. But that is not all. Sarah spreads her particular brand of politic to others. Then, in Part 2, Sarah conquers the race issue by engaging with a black man, one in one. He puts her through the ringer, unleashing generations of pent up racial anguish, and Sarah gladly takes it in...every inch of it, until there is finally a massive emancipation of sperm all over Sarah's face.

I definitely give both of these 2 films 2 erect thumbs up! I first viewed Part 1 in a hotel. I liked it so much that I bought a copy. Of course I bought Part 2 when it came out.
