The subsidies are not even close to paying for a health insurance policy in Maine....each older person will have to fork out an additional $9k a year, PLUS Deductibles.....they just won't be able to get healthcare insurance.....and they will die in some cAses.

And why would you give a senior making $75k the same $4k as the person earning only $20k in the tax credit? Republicans seem to be intentionally trying to kill off the poor elderly.

Well you're partially right in that post-Obama the gop is now a party in favor of govt support for individuals to obtain healthcare insurance, which is close to a 180 degree switch from 2008. Consider that when contemplating Obama's claim to greatness. And that sucks considering the mess he made in Europe.

But I think that if this bill passes in entirety it not only bigly reduces the subsidies and Medicaid support to states, but it also causes more deficit spending than Obamacare
