This is simply an extension of the Harry Reid rule to now include SCOTUS justices as well.

This was Harry Reid's idea.

Harry Reid is a DEM.

Reid's objective was to end gridlock for Federal judge appointments.

It did.

Now it will also end gridlock for SCOTUS nominations as well.

This is what the U.S. Constitution had in mind. There is nothing about filibusters in the Constitution.

President Trump will very likely put at least one more SCJ on the bench in the next four years. I 100% guarantee everyone President Trump will not run for a second term. All the DEM appointments (Breyer, Ginsberg, Kagan, Sotomayor) have had a habit of ignoring the Constitution especially the 2nd Amendment.
