So you're willing to risk pushing us closer to open Civil War by destroying faith in the one branch of government that has even a little credibility left with the people just to what, score political hit points?Republicans can do what hey want when they have both Houses of Congress and the White House
I am willing to risk it
Why would following the Constitution result in Civil War?So you're willing to risk pushing us closer to open Civil War by destroying faith in the one branch of government that has even a little credibility left with the people just to what, score political hit points?
Any allegations of cheating should be heard in court (they were) and if substantiated, we would have had to have Congress weigh in on the matter as well as the Supreme Court. If the challenges fail (they did) then he has to leave office (he did), so the only way a true civil war could have broken out would be if he refused to leave office and had enough support from the military to make it stick AND enough of the people were fired up enough to stop sipping soy lattes and take up arms. So your hypothetical is just that, hypothetical. Why would following the Constitution result in Civil War?
Do you think Trump trying to overturn a lawful election would have led to CivilWar if he was reinstated over the will of We the People?

^ no answer^Strawman.
hahaha they can’t rule it unconstitutional when the case isn’t before it. God your dumbThey refused to stop it until they rule making it defacto legal
When you say follow the constitution, technically it is about federal taxes and the gold and silver backed currency. Once that was breached the Constitution was diminished and weakened to be attacked. Why would following the Constitution result in Civil War?

You GoofyWhen you say follow the constitution, technically it is about federal taxes and the gold and silver backed currency. Once that was breached the Constitution was diminished and weakened to be attacked.
The court will routinely halt a law while the wait to rule on Constitutionalityhahaha they can’t rule it unconstitutional when the case isn’t before it. God your dumb
Another exanple of how whenever Demcorats lose, they whine and cry and demand a change in the rules.About friggin time
IOW, the system worked as designed and the people accepted the results as they still have some faith in the way it works. Keep changing the rules, for example, by packing the court and people will move closer to not accepting the results any more.Trump attempted to submit spurious legal claims to a court he appointed. He failed
Trump tried to pressure local Republican officials to overturn the official vote. He failed
Trump pressured his own Vice President to overturn the vote of the states. he failed
You're right -- the three liberal justices refuse to cast their votes based on facts and precedent. The current Court has exposed how political it has become...yes
provide examples of the court on its own, stopping state laws, pending, potential litigationThe court will routinely halt a law while the wait to rule on Constitutionality
But it's up to them to do so. There's no hard and fast rule that they have to.The court will routinely halt a law while the wait to rule on Constitutionality
You know, you have to be the most ignorant poster I've seen in the short time I've been here. You add nothing to any thread that I have had the misfortune to see you post in.....It's pretty amazing given your volume of posts. Why would following the Constitution result in Civil War?
