Can you point to the laws that say you need to separate kids from their mom?

No criminal has ever been able to take their children with them when being detained. Why is this such a struggle for you to understand?

They are not criminals . They are asylum seekers . Not a crime .

Those asylum seekers passed through many countries before they got to the Mexico/US border.

If they truly are asylum seekers they could have asked for sanctuary at any of those countries.

Now you have to ask yourself the question why did they wait to ask for asylum till they got to the US??

That's easy. The US has social services that they can use and if one of the women has a kid, that kid is an automatic US citizen and that means the mother and you can bet her extended family are entitle to everything that any other US citizen is entitled to.

So those seeking asylum aren't really looking for asylum. They are looking for a free ride courtesy of the tax payers of America. Something most other countries don't provide.

Pretty much every law that prohibits putting juveniles into adult detention facilities.

Yup. If you and your wife are arrested and sent to prison your relatives can take your kids.

If you don't have any relatives DCF will have to take them at tax payer expense.
