Nobody left 4 citizens to die. The initial CIA response team rescued every body in the building except the ambassador and his aid. The only reason they died is because they went to the safe room. It wasn't safe, the exhaust fan had not been installed yet, and they died of smoke inhalation. The other two died on an expose roof top. Killed by mortar fire when the Team sent from Tripoli arrived at the CIA complex and the local militia fire on them.

Mistreatment of soldiers has a long history in the US. Just ask all the Vietnam Vets who came back suffering from Agent Orange, only to be told that the US government had nothing to do with it, thus they refused to compensate them.

Then you had soldiers coming home from Iraq suffering from the "Gulf War Syndrome" and predictably with the same response.

Recently, we had the VA scandal in Arizona where they were making secret lists of soldiers not to treat and let die, because they were too sick and they did not have enough staff and resources to treat them. Obama simply fired some guy who had nothing to do with it and swept it all under the rug pretending it was all fixed.

The list goes on and on.

Also, the Arizona scandal should open your eyes. They were creating secret lists of soldiers to "not treat" because they were too sick and they were not able to treat them. So they just secretly let them die while cooking the books so it did not look that way. But a doctor had a conscience and became a whistleblower. The first person he ran to was none other than Mr. war veteran John McCain. Next thing he knew, he was given a pink slip.

Had it not been for an obscure Congressman from Florida, the story would never have hit the press and swept all under the rug. As it was, Obama just said, "Sorry" and fired some high level boob who had nothing to do with any of it.

Congress had passed a law forbidding any spending on security for US embassies EXCEPT in Baghdad and Kabul.

When Bush jr was president 13 US embassies were attacked and 60 people were killed. Did you make a stink about that?

There was NO US consulate in Benghazi. Just a rented villa. Congress had ruled there would be NO MONEY for Embassy security except in Baghdad and Kabul.
