So if a private business owner says one has to be vaxxed to work there

Kind of ironic that the rightwing has worked for decades to destroy unions. And now that they need one . . .
There's no irony in that at all.

There's no contradiction in not wanting to unionise but still wanting to be able to be treated fairly with certain workplace rights.

It doesn't have to be one or the other.

This is just another stupid, ill-thought out little soundbite with no substance to have a pop.

OUTSTANDING POST. POST OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!

The hospital in question (Methodist hospital in Houston) required all employees to be vaccinated. Some sued. They lost.
Still not clear if these were new hires or not. No one lost because a libbie judge blocked the suit. What is he hiding?
It will get to a jury soon enough and the requirement to ingest an experimental non FDA approved drug will be set aside
FDA full approval of all May and should make a difference

If vaccine mandates keep our hospitals from collapsing and not being able to treat people because they are so overwhelmed with unvaxxed idiots, then I am all for it. Roll up your sleeves!
What if instead of what is.
The liberal hypothetical to boost feelings.

The policy applied to current employees.

They didn’t “block” the case. It was dismissed because it’s merit less. There is no jury. There is no trial.

Then define "new hire", so we can check on this stuff you are making up out of thin air.
People that had been hired before Covid came to be cannot be fired for refusing to provide proof that they are vaccinated. You cannot herd them into the company vaccination chamber or else either.
People who were hired more recently with the understanding that they may or will be required to become injected can be fired if they refuse to do so. It’s called a condition of employment and must be pre disclosed and preexisting. Otherwise, they cannot be fired and no one has been
I’ve already explained this several times and will not any further.

Not sure in what universe that is even remotely true, but what is the "official" date we are using for this, in this alternate universe?

That’s what I’ve been saying. These people were hired under the condition they may have to get vaccinated.
That is completely different than A father of 4 working there 3 years, and well before the word Covid was known cannot he fired for not participating in the vaccination experiments

Where does it say they were hired under that condition?
