Solar taking a dump! Here's why.........

The whole "you'll save on electricity costs!" thing with solar is a big scam.
A friend installed solar in Tacoma, Washington. That was done in December. From January to July, he paid zero for his electricity. In July the utility paid him $250. Neat scam.

How would solar panels affect the output of the sun? Perhaps you really should learn about Milankovitch Cycles and the carbon cycle;
It doesn't reduce the output of the sun. It reduces the radiation received by the earth from the sun. And will result in a cooling effect relative to the use of no solar panels.

We find that solar panels alone induce regional cooling by converting incoming solar energy to electricity in comparison to the climate without solar panels. The conversion of this electricity to heat, primarily in urban areas, increases regional and global temperatures which compensate the cooling effect.

I mean seriously... was it even ever a question? Can't it be solved by inspection that the widespread use of solar panels will induce a cooling effect?

So... which idiot here thinks it's a good idea for widespread use of solar panels during an ice age?

LOL Fellow, ever here of the physical principal of conservation of energy? The sunlight falls on the solar panel, about 20% of that energy is converted to electricity. The electricity is put on the grid, and transmission losses convert a percentage of that to heat. It is used in electric motors, and a percentages of that goes to heat. In light bulbs, and a percentage goes to heat. Then the mechanical energy from the motor is converted to heat, and the photons from the light bulb are converted heat by the material it falls on. In other words, that heat is just relocated to different areas. 3rd grade physics lecture over, try to remember.

What part of Any radiation they take in is radiation that's not being absorbed by the Earth confused you?

Soaring costs in solar energy causing the market to take a dive.........mostly due to China. And how funny is this? Everybody knows Biden in bed with China which effectively screws the solar market.

Heres the bad news if you are a big solar guy...........

What Could Ruin It All?

"Solar doesn’t just have a polysilicon supply problem …

It has a polysilicon reputation problem, too.

Again, these are all largely Chinese suppliers, many from the Xinjiang area, and many using coal to produce solar-grade polysilicon, which largely defeats the purpose of solar as one of our clean energy saviors."

Really now.........how fcuking dumb are the climate crusaders? More fodder that they all hail from the University of Mars.

Such flap yap idiocy, almost all new generation this year will be renewables;

lol.....can we see that on a graph next to fossil fuels! :spinner: :spinner:

"Growth" graphs are the tried and true fakery strategy employed by progressives to make their idea's look plausible.

Problem is, anybody who is astute enough to ask the ?, "As compared to what?" train wrecks the progressive argument.

Solar/Wind continue to be little itty bitty slivers on any energy graph that includes fossil fuels........will continue that way well past 2050. But dont take my word for it.......check the EIA government energy projection graph for 2021. Ive posted it numerous times in here. Its 1 million GW of pwn.......:deal:

AhhhhHaaaa..........

Over the past several years here on Long Island in New York, solar companies did the same thing. The people who signed up were thrilled.......until they got their bills:oops8:

Their electric expenditures for the year...........WENT UP!!:rofl::rofl::up:

Local News 12 did a special report........people were pissed. Ummm.......the customers interviewed were frequently using the term, "Scam".

And just wait until they try to sell those houses.

The savings using a solar system over 20 years varies from state to state because of varying electrical costs of separate states. Here is a guide to some states, add in a battery backup, and you are safe from blackouts;
