"Cancel" is something that corporations do. Canceling comes quickly and with little input from the public. It is usually very sudden and, ironically, done much more often to Democratic media figures who make a slip, a slight deviation from the orthodoxy, than to Republicans.

The "boycott" of Bud Lite is a natural occurance, not a decision by the Woke Department of a large corporation. Bud Lite decided to have a person whose act is a hateful lampoon of both women and transwomen as their new face to the public. People reacted by deciding that they will find some other brand of watered down tasteless American beer.

Mr. Mulvaney is still a Tik-Tok superstar among those idiotic enough to use that app. He revels in the attention he gets, no matter how negative. He is far from "cancelled."
