Just for shits and giggles, I decided to quote this just to shove it up your ass and let everyone watch.

OMG, RETARD.
From your own link, which you should have grabbed the nearest 10-year-old, to read to you.

MATTHEW LEE RUPERT, 28

Galesburg, Ill.

Charges:

  • Civil disorder, 1 count
  • Organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot, 1 count

Where is the rioting charge, MORON?

U.S. Attorney J. Douglas Overbey and FBI Special-Agent-in-Charge Joseph E. Carrico announced the unsealing of a federal criminal complaint against Dominic Brown, 18, of Heiskell, charging him with inciting a riot and civil disorder. Brown was arrested earlier today, and made his initial appearance today in the U.S. District Court in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Where's the rioting charge, imbecile.

Yet, it's all true. Lets see your rebuttal. Go ahead. Weak cocksucker.

It's appropriate and timely we are actively discussing the attempted insurrection on January 6th.
After all, this week is the one year anniversary of it.

In addition to tonight's PBS - FRONTLINE documentary (see your local listings or Google 'Frontline')....there was coverage in today's newsfeeds that seems to be pertinent: (emphasis by my avatar).

In Business Insider :

"725 suspects were arrested in the year since the Capitol riot, DOJ announces. The FBI is looking for 350 more."

(plus on the Business Insider webpage they have a real-time listing of who has been arrested to date, what their charges are, and for some the disposition.)

And I found the Daily Beast coverage interesting too:

"Inside the Feds’ Hunt for Hundreds of Capitol Riot Fugitives"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the Beast:

"But if anyone there that day assumes they’re safe from prosecution because 12 months have passed, they’re wrong. Because not only are the feds hunting for them, a digital army of volunteer investigators are also on the case—and the ad hoc crew of citizen sleuths have already collected a dozen or so scalps.

Somewhat infamously, only 14 people were arrested by the U.S. Capitol Police on Jan. 6: 10 for unlawful entry; two for assaulting a police officer; and two for weapons possession. But the cascade of arrests, charges, and—in recent months—convictions and sentences has not stopped since then. Among other more recent highlights, in October, a Capitol Police officer was charged with obstruction of justice for telling one of the alleged rioters to delete incriminating evidence of his actions that day he had posted on social media.

And the search for violent thugs who preyed on the seat of American democracy goes on. According to FBI estimates, as of Dec. 30 there were “around 250 individuals” pictured on the agency’s Jan. 6 wanted list and accused of having assaulted law enforcement officers that day who have not yet been identified or arrested, according to Shero. An additional 100 suspects are wanted for committing other “violent acts” on Capitol grounds. The bureau says it is also looking to ID 16 suspects seen on video assaulting federal officers that day, and two suspects who were filmed assaulting members of the media.

So far, more than 700 people have been charged for their alleged involvement in the riot, FBI spokesperson Samantha Shero told The Daily Beast. All face federal rather than state or local charges.

"...........the feds are still actively searching for hundreds of known rioters.

........ the bureau has publicly pegged the total number of people involved in the Capitol attack that day at around 2,000."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, if you wish to demonstrate your patriotism you can help.
If you know a colleague, neighbor, or whoever, who was there, contact SeditionHunters, or your local FBI office.

Yes, the attempted insurrection failed, but......but there are perpetrators still out there and it is in America's best interest to find them, arrest them, and bring them to court for their accountability to this nation of laws.

God Bless America.

I wish the left would stop making January 6th sound cooler than it actually was.

WOW...1,000 arrests

That was some "party" huh?

I wish the left would stop making January 6th sound cooler than it actually was.
There was nothing cool about trying to usurp a legal election.

And it worked.

These violent assholes stopped the electoral count.

The only thing stopping this coup was the fact that Pence, Pelosi, and McConnell went BACK in and finished the count.

Had they not...the election might well have been trashed

LOL ya cause a riot for a couple hours really would prevent the vote, even if they had to wait till the next day it would have been done.

This was on Jan 6. The Potted Plant didn't get sworn in until the 20th.

I'm thinking they coulda squeezed it in.

The idea was to cause a postponement and try to get states to change or withdraw their votes and then send it to the House or the SCOTUS

The delay was successful and the coup failed because Congress went back into session almost immediately
