Study Finds MAGA Republicans More Likely to Support Delusional and Pro-Violence Statements

A new study has revealed that a specific group of Republicans, known as MAGA Republicans, are more likely than other groups to endorse political violence. The findings, published in PLOS One, indicate that this group, making up approximately 15% of the US adult population, showed distinct beliefs on race and democracy, differing significantly from other Republican factions and non-Republicans.

One of the survey’s most striking revelations concerns attitudes towards democracy and the use of violence. A substantial 90% of MAGA Republicans perceived a serious threat to American democracy, a perception considerably higher than that of strong Republicans (74.4%), other Republicans (61.7%), and non-Republicans (70.1%).

Furthermore, 31% of MAGA Republicans held the belief that having a strong leader is more important than maintaining a democracy, again surpassing the percentages in strong Republicans (17.8%), other Republicans (17.0%), and non-Republicans (15.2%). The endorsement of armed citizens patrolling polling places was also notably higher among MAGA Republicans (19.2%) compared to the other groups.

The survey also probed beliefs about race and the ‘great replacement’ theory. Only 6.5% of MAGA Republicans agreed strongly or very strongly that white people have societal advantages over Black people, a stark contrast to the 62.6% of non-Republicans who held this view. Additionally, over half of MAGA Republicans (51.0%) strongly or very strongly believed in the ‘great replacement’ theory, the belief that native-born white Americans are being replaced by immigrants. This belief was far less prevalent among strong Republicans (23.1%), other Republicans (14.4%), and non-Republicans (7.0%).

Another area of focus was the QAnon conspiracy theory. Here, 26.7% of MAGA Republicans strongly or very strongly believed that US institutions are controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles, a belief significantly less prevalent among strong Republicans (5.4%), other Republicans (6.5%), and non-Republicans (5.6%). Similarly, 29.6% of MAGA Republicans strongly or very strongly believed in the imminent arrival of a storm that would restore the rightful leaders, a view not as widely shared by other groups.

“The study’s findings suggest that MAGA Republicans, as defined, are a distinct minority — more likely than other Republicans to endorse racist and delusional beliefs, sometimes by very wide margins,” the researchers wrote.

I wouldn't say they are all pedophiles as some of they have adult gay orgies in Senate chambers.

But you like that sort of thing, don't ya.

Being a little incompetent dweeb who perceives themselves in the minority, we can fully understand where you are coming from.

I suppose that Hispanic people, Black people, and even some white people are rallying to your cause, since you portray yourself as the new Malcom X!

Actually, most of us are LAUGHING at you and all your endeavors! Actually, we see you as a shoe shiner with a tude, trying to bring down Blacks and Hispanics to your level, because you have an ax to grind.

How sad for you! If you didn't have a 50 dollar computer, the only thing you could do is spit into the wind; which no doubt, would be everyone else's fault also.

It is a sad state of affairs when a DUDE with a TUDE, can spew nonsense, and that is exactly what YOU do.

So "Only 6.5% of MAGA Republicans agreed strongly or very strongly that white people have societal advantages over Black people," So what ?
The real question is why would ANYBODY think that, when we have had 59 years of Affirmative Action benefits given to blacks, AT THE EXPENSE of white people ? And we have institutions like the VA hospitals, where seeing a white employee is like looking for a needle in a haystack ?

Another question is why
over half of MAGA Republicans (51.0%) strongly or very strongly believed in the ‘great replacement’ theory, the belief that native-born white Americans are being replaced by immigrants.
....when this is totally obvious in places like Walmart, where all the floor employees are illegal aliens, who speak no English, having REPLACED all the Americans who worked there 2 years ago.
And all the Walmart delivery people also don't speak English. I constantly have to speak to them in Spanish, and had to write out Spanish instructions, for the deliveries.

So why don't ALL MAGA Republicans (and everybody else) believe in the so-called great replacement theory, when the clear proof of it is right in front of our eyes (and ears) ?

Take away J6th and cite for us what Riots MAGA's were involved.
We have an Entire 2020 Summer of Love Protests/Riots that
were NOT instigated or partaken by any MAGA or GOP group.
I guess that explains my proof where you are a deceiving

The proof is the August 2020 Conventions.
At the August DNC Convention not a word was spoken
over an entire Summer of Love protests.
Whereas at the August RNC Convention almost every
speaker made mention or a big deal over a summer filled with
Riots and Lootings and Burnings and yes Deaths { over a dozen }.

“The vast majority of demonstration events associated with the BLM movement are non-violent In more than 93% of all demonstrations connected to the movement, demonstrators have not engaged in violence or destructive activity.”

The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project documented the summer protests. They recorded over 7,500 protests and found that more than 93 percent were peaceful. ACLED documented over 2,400 locations and found that violence occurred in less than 220.

Another funny thing was discovered during these protests (well, actually not so funny). The violence in many of these protests was from people not associated with Black Lives Matter. The evidence from ACLED shows that much of the violence came from infiltrators and counter-protesters, many associated with white nationalist and paramilitary organizations. These groups had an ally that often helped escalate the situation, then used violence to settle things down. That ally was law enforcement.

“Since Floyd’s killing, dozens of car-ramming attacks by individual perpetrators — in some cases acting independently with no reported affiliation, and in others linked to hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan — have been reported at demonstrations around the country. Other cases have involved those affiliated with the government, such as the military and law enforcement, including an on-duty police officer at a demonstration in Anaheim, California on 25 July; an off-duty police officer at a demonstration in Seattle, Washington on 4 July; an army sergeant at a demonstration in Austin, Texas on 25 July; and an off-duty jail correctional officer at a demonstration in Kokomo, Indiana on 30 May.”

Here’s an example of conflation on the part of the article’s author:

The author cites “attitudes towards democracy and the use of violence” but then, to support this, goes on to cite a percentage of those who only said there was a serious threat to democracy. Nothing about violence was actually mentioned by MAGA respondents or the survey itself.

The Great Replacement Theory is always a fun topic because of the amusing way the left handles it. When you suggest that whites are being intentionally replaced by non-whites via immigration, you're called a racist conspiracy theorist. When you say that low native birth rates among whites necessitate bringing in more immigrants, you're praised. The silent part of that second statement is that most immigration comes from non-white countries.

So, regardless of the reason for which you believe it is happening, no one seems to be disputing that it is happening. But you absolutely have to say it is positive for some reason.
Whites aren't being replaced. Furthermore, whites tried replacing the indigenous nations in this country. It is delusional for whites who do so, to believe this country is a white country.

“Delusional statements” like….”I have a massive penis and hair on my chest but I swear I’m a woman because I say I am.”
And
”Pro-violence statements” like….”I will engage in a civil war to save my country from purple hair faggots and dark degenerates.”

Those kinds of statements?

Their is no such thing as race. All human beings are one species. Skin color is one of the minor differences we share. There are more important genes differences than the one for pigmentation. How such a superficial difference was ever blown this far out of proportion demonstrates how ignorant we are as a species.

It actually goes beyond whites being replaced. Blacks are being replaced too. At this point, Latinos are replacing everyone else.

You're correct that whites replaced the indigenous people here, but that actually confirms my argument. Because the natives didn't have any ability to secure their borders, they lost their lands.
