Most importantly, it points out the increasing folly of identity politics. When we pass laws like ADA, or most any other "equity" law, the courts are tasked with deciding who gets the special protections, and who doesn't, with defining what constitutes a "disability". Our rights are no longer universal and equal - your rights depend on how the government categorizes you, or your disability, or your religion, or your gender.

SCOTUS will determine if it’s a mental illness. It’s not me making the argument that it is, I simply agree.

There are law suits coming out about underage kids getting surgeries. Now that they are adults. So those happen several years ago, so yes it's happening.
