One thing that astonishes me again and again is USMB Republicans lack of interest in the future.
Every time they think they've "won" they get pumped and excited. That's how they were with the deficit creating Bush Tax Cuts. Something they rarely discuss these days. Their incredible thrill with invading Iraq. When was the last time they boasted about that? In fact, how many times have they tried to blame Iraq in Democrats????

Now we have a new round of Tax Cuts. Ordered by GOP donors. No payout, no more money to paid politicians. They are so sure of their base, they weren't even secretive about it.

These charts from the non partisan Tax Policy Center:

CHARTS: See How Much Of GOP Tax Cuts Will Go To The Middle Class

Over time, the cost of this massive wealth redistribution will only grow. New estimates are up to two trillion.

Republicans keep insisting jobs will come back and wages will go higher. For those things to happen, they need support.

What do you need for job growth? Simple, you need education. Republicans are cutting education and job training. So who would be qualified for those jobs? Immigrants?

Never a mention that 87% of lost manufacturing jobs were automated.

So, will wages go up? Someone posted a link that AT&T gave bonuses to it's employees. Only, when we read the link, they were limited to managers.

There was nothing in the bill that ties growth to salaries. In fact, salaries go up when the labor market tightens and there are millions of job openings. Like now:

America has record-high 6.2 million job openings: we've never before had this many job openings

On the downside, employers increasingly say they can't find skilled and available workers to fill their open positions.

A thoughtful tax cut would take all this into consideration. But Republicans did this willy nilly, just throwing money to the wealthy and hoping for the best. Well, we've ridden this horse before. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Republicans remind me of the Grasshopper from the Grasshopper and the Ant. Education and job training is the work they must do. Two things they mock and laugh at. Unfortunately for them, the educated have the last laugh.

I am trying to get one of my friends in the trade business to open a school down in my area of Florida where spoiled, rich kids have tons of money and not too many brain cells, as they have been indoctrinated by the public education system to be a victim of liberalism, but my friend could teach them the trades, having them learn skills that would enable them to find a job other than a coffee shop attendant. With my business of flipping houses , those kids could be employed to help rebuild those houses and with the years of experience and the on job training, soon they could be very high paying professionals..And then they would be conservative, because they would know what it is like to get off the dole and actually learn what it is like to be self sufficient and proud of it.

2018 more seats in Congress and Senate go Republican...
2020 President Trump gets re-elected and more seats in Congress and Senate go Republican..
2022 etc.etc.etc till no Democrats are left, Californication, Illinois, and New York go bankrupt and are turned into penal colonies like the movie, "Escape from New York"..

All of your premises are why I suggest you keep government out of peoples lives. They have a role and should fullfill it, security, protecting consumers and investors from abuse, construction of infrastructure, etc etc. When you have excessive interference you see inefficiencies, massive debt passed on to next generation (when you talk about the future there was no concern of this when Obama doubled your entire debt in 8 years).

Allow individuals to pursue their own self interests and the rest of society will benefit. What you are seeing is citizens exploiting government and taxpayers for self benefit, selling a false narrative to the poor and keeping them there whether by design or accident. So, following your concern with revenue side I suggest the expense side has to be dealt with, one way or another, whether today or next decade. It HAS to be addressed. Just as the new left will never allow tax cuts, they will never allow expense cuts. This is a major problem.

So, tax cuts are intended to give more back to citizens to pursue your own self interest and needs. THAT is Americanism. It's what I've fought for in Canada and exposed of the corrupt lying police agencies who abuse these premises. They are intended to encourage growth, jobs, global competitiveness and right to self determination. You are an individual before God, you have Natural Rights, the more the merrier.

There were better options for this Bill that go further I would argue, but with changes to the exemptions and individual write offs, changes to machine depreciation etc, this is a great start. The government can't force you to earn more, that's on you. This will be an employees market, more job options for citizens, higher wages and companies competing for the best and brightest.

The cuts will last as long as liberals don't get back in office

Tax cuts today, but what happens in a few years?

The Democrats will deepen the individual cuts and make them permanent,
because Dems love it when people keep more of their own money..........DERP!

It's like with Social Security.

Say you retire at 65. You could receive say 22 thousand a year. But if you retire at 62, you will only get 17 thousand a year.

But it doesn't jump from 17 thousand to 22 thousand. It increments every month. So at 62, you would get 17 thousand. At 62 and one month, the amount increases by a few dollars. Every month, it increases a little more. So if you wanted 22 thousand a year, you would have to work until 65.
But you work until 64 and settle for 20 thousand a year. It's the same way with taxes. You pay this much in 2018 and that much in 2027. But it changes a little every year. You don't just take a big hit in 2027. It will only take a year or two and you will start getting less and eventually, you will be paying more.

What happened last time? The worst recession since WW2, that's what.

What will come of this? A recession much worse? The poor get fucked over, the rich get cheaper labor.... who wins?

Oh please.

Appalachia covers 13 southern states.

The angry crazy left's argument is becoming so thin that it's almost laughable. What did Barry Hussein have to offer besides support for anarchists that vowed to "occupy Wall Street"? While Hillary was getting about a quarter of a million dollars a pop for a series of mystery speeches to Wall Street bankers and Barry was lavishing taxpayer dollars for golden parachutes to solar energy executives before the companies went under, the crazy democrats were all over the place and even supported a freaking socialist for president Didn't democrats understand that Americans are smarter and better informed than Nancy Pelosi? If it wasn't for the full court press by the liberal media the DNC would cease to exist.

Yeah the U-3 went down but the U-6 went way up.. Funny how liberals want more people in low wage jobs, so then they can become welfare queens.

The True Unemployment Rate: U6 Vs. U3

What happened last time? The worst recession since WW2, that's what.

What will come of this? A recession much worse? The poor get fucked over, the rich get cheaper labor.... who wins?

You do know we were in a mini recession when bush Jr signed it into law right?

When Obama made it perment in 2013 unemployment went from 8% down to 4.8%

Yeah the U-3 went down but the U-6 went way up.. Funny how liberals want more people in low wage jobs, so then they can become welfare queens.

The True Unemployment Rate: U6 Vs. U3

Is that what you think it is? People just don't want to work? Instead, they want pennies from welfare?

America has record-high 6.2 million job openings

Or is it they just don't know how to do anything worthwhile? You would think Republicans would figure that out since so many have dropped out of school and are never going to college or job training. And they want immigrants to leave so they can get jobs picking fruit and digging ditches?

Nope.

What do you mean nope? Oh that's right. Republicans won't do those jobs. Too hard.
