Ted Cruz Proposes Amendment To Vote Out Supreme Court Justices

Yes...this is how badly Cruz hurt the Republicans.....because I'll tell you...this win wasn't because of establishment republicans....

Republican sweep extends to state level - The Washington Post

Republicans picked up Democratic-held governorships in deep blue states such as Massachusetts, Maryland and Illinois, as well as in Arkansas. The wins swell the ranks of Republican governors to at least 31, near a high water mark in the modern era.

*************

Republican gains extended to state legislative chambers as well. Before Election Day, the GOP controlled 59 of 98 partisan legislative chambers across the country. On Tuesday, preliminary results showed Republicans had won control of both the Nevada Assembly and Senate, the Colorado and Maine Senates and state House chambers in Minnesota, New Mexico, West Virginia and New Hampshire.

That would give the party control of 67 chambers, five more than their previous record in the modern era, set after special elections in 2011 and 2012.

It also would give Republicans total control of 24 states, in which they hold the governor’s mansion and both chambers of the state legislature (Nebraska’s unicameral legislature is technically nonpartisan, but in practice Republicans control the chamber by a wide margin). Democrats, by contrast, are likely to control all three legs of the governing stool in only six states.

All after Republicans sent Cruz to the cornfield. Again, he burned his bridges within the GOP leadership and in the house. And as a consequence......he does nothing. None of his proposed legislation goes anywhere. None of his proposed amendments even get out of committee. None of his policies are enacted.

Which is exactly as it should be.

So, with all this repug control, where's all the jobs?

Commie Canuck Cruz should be careful what he wishes for. Times are changing - in a Liberal/Progressive way. I don't think there are enough NaziCon white supremacist radicals to elect a "Conservative" Supreme Court. Please correct me if I am wrong...

After calling the last day "some of the darkest 24 hours in our nation's history," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is now calling for Supreme Court justices to face elections.

In a National Review op-ed published Friday, Cruz chastised the high court for its decisions to reject a major challenge to Obamacare and to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide.

"Both decisions were judicial activism, plain and simple," Cruz writes. "Both were lawless."

To challenge that "judicial activism," Cruz said he is proposing a constitutional amendment to require Supreme Court justices to face retention elections every eight years.

More: Ted Cruz Wants To Be Able To Vote Out Supreme Court Justices

So funny. Liberals have a great week and NaziCons want to vote out SCOTUS. NaziCons are very sore losers. Liberals move forward and NaziCons are like evolution in reverse. NaziCons love Citizens United.
After doing some research today I agree with Ted Cruz there should be a more viable means to get rid of some of them.
