Ted Cruz targets Conservative Icon and War Hero Bob Dole.

I know one thing he hasn't done. Actually two. He hasn't done an advertisement for Viagra. And he's not great friends with Nancy Pelosi.

Makes him ok in my books!

:D

Ted Cruz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wow. I'm impressed. Eat your heart out Dole, commttees are the in-thing now, not stupid wars and war wounds. I hope everyone takes notes that Cruz is the ranking member on two committees.

Almost as good as Hillary's Senate career:

Clinton served on five Senate committees with nine subcommittee assignments:
Committee on the Budget (2001-2003)[1]
Committee on Armed Services (2003-2009)[2] Subcommittee on Airland
Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities
Subcommittee on Readiness and Management Support
Committee on Environment and Public Works (2001-2009)[1]
Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety
Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure
Subcommittee on Superfund and Environmental Health (Chairwoman, 2007-2009)
Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (2001-2009)[1] Subcommittee on Children and Families
Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety
Special Committee on Aging.[3]
She was also a Commissioner of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe[4] (2001-2009).[5]

She also held two leadership positions in the Senate Democratic Caucus:
1.Chairwoman of Steering and Outreach Committee (2003–2006)[6][7]
2.Vice Chairwoman of Committee Outreach (2007–2009)[8]

Chunk in 8 years as an active FLOUTUS and 4 years as SoS...Cruz looks like a little boy next to her achievements.

Shrillary was the misbegotten wife of a scumbag President who parlayed his infidelity into a career as a Senator and then as a Secretary of State.

Other than having acquired some titles, nobody can point to any actual substantive accomplishments in her "career."

Ted Cruz said that Dole along with McCain and Romeny who he also brought up in the speech your trying to distort were all good and decent men who lost their Presidential bids because they did not run on conservative principles which was by no means a attack on Doles military service simply a critique of the type of campaign the three men ran. By the way who did the left embrace over not one but two war hero's the already mentioned Bob Dole and George H.W. Bush? Hint it's the same man for both.

You surely don't mean that the wimp-ass lefties chose a draft dodger over military heroes? Tell me it ain't so.

Yeah McCain was too Right wing, too Conservative; we need to run a Moderate like Bernie Sanders

I'm afraid he would get the votes from the Democrat base of voters today, they re-elected a man of no experience in anything but community agitating and with his record of over 7% unemployment for all his first term, should tell us a lot

damn we are doomed

The best presidents know how to organize people. You would think that would be obvious.

The worst, try to rip people off and crush the middle class. We call those "Republicans".

Obama, and the gang that can't shoot straight with the American people, have done a pretty good job on the middle class, and they are not through yet. Hell, almost half the nation is not on food stamps yet. But, they are getting there.

We call those ignorant assholes "Democrats".

What's to project when the facts are there?

Hillary was removed from the Nixon investigation because she was corrupt. She gained only when her husband she latched onto was moving up and rode that train to the top. Never changing her ways of course just a clinger. Name recognition took over from there.

Name me one thing she did as a first lady, senator or SoD? I'm willing to look at anything remotely successful.

What else can you say?

In 1942, Dole joined the United States Army's Enlisted Reserve Corps to fight in World War II, becoming a second lieutenant in the Army's 10th Mountain Division. In April 1945, while engaged in combat near Castel d'Aiano in the Apennine mountains southwest of Bologna, Italy, Dole was hit by German machine gun fire in his upper right back and his right arm was also badly injured. As Lee Sandlin describes, when fellow soldiers saw the extent of his injuries, all they thought they could do was to "give him the largest dose of morphine they dared and write an 'M' for 'morphine' on his forehead in his own blood, so that nobody else who found him would give him a second, fatal dose."

And what has Ted Cruz done for this country?

Congratulations! We Just Paid $24 Billion For One Man's $800K Fundraising Scheme

If you hurry you might be able to make it to Sen. Dole's office and offer him your special favors since you love him so much.

Ted Cruz implied no lack of respect for the Senator except maybe to question the conventional wisdom of all of the campaigns he mentioned which decided to compromise as a way to win more votes but instead lost the votes of those who wanted the GOP POTUS candidates just the way they were. And if they had just been themselves they might have won.

So Cruz is saying he intends to be himself and not compromise his Conservatism and 'stand for nothing.'

And if the WWII war hero turned Senator had done that who is to say that Sen. Dole might not have become President Dole?

Ah, RINO season. It's the time when the conservative bedwetters try to outdo each other in pretending how tough they are, to everyone's great amusement. Just look at this thread.

It's also the season when all the commies in the Democrat party pretend they're good loyal patriotic conservative Americans.

Sure, Fakey.

As a liberal Democratic YOU smash down upstart conservatives in the Party to which you don't even belong.

Take the hint, Fakey, you pathetic ass-clown. NOBODY with a functioning brain cell believes you, you dishonest obvious poseur hack.

Cruz recommended that when the GOP stands for nothing, it fails to generate support.

If people want to support folks who don't have fidelity to principle, they can ALWAYS vote Democrat.

Yeah--Bob Dole certainly didn't deserve that comment. He was shot up really bad during WW2--in fact, I think there is an old movie about it, and it left him with his left side unable to move for the rest of his life. Not only that but he was a "great statesman" in his days in the Senate.

I think Ted Cruz probably hit the dirt on that one.

You are no conservative, just a fucked up wack job out on the far reactionary right and now the bill is due.

The first payment was the defeat of the TeaPs in the Tezas primaries of the creeps opposing Cornyn and Sessions, real conservatives

The real GOP laughs its ass off at you wack jobs

Cruz just signed his political death warrant. He will not be re-elected to the Senate in 2018. The mainstream will take care of him in the chamber during the next four years. The leadership will shame him every day in every way with no say by him.

Tis what tis.
