My best guess would be that New York has more cases than Texas because it has more tourism and a higher concentration of people in highly populated areas. Dead Texans are mostly in the ground.

I recently bought a very cool Honeywell HEPA filter for the house. It has I believe three separate filters plus activated carbon - very sophisticated filtration similar to what they install in hospitals and commercial jets. Having worked in industrial water treatment for around a dozen years - I get it.
