Science make no such assumptions. Hypothesises are proven false all the time. Scientist learn to accept the results of their experiments and to develop new hypothesises to test again and again.....

Then why are you arguing with science? Why does it matter if the Bible and science don't agree with something? Why do aspects of the Bible have to be taught in science classes when you say "it's not about science"?

Our Creator created the first forms of life and science has proved that.
Louis Pasteur proved that life has to come from life. Science experiments have never proven life has come from something non living.
The bible and science go hand in hand.
Science has had more proof in the bible than the other way around.

And no science hasn't proven that snakes can talk, people can resurrect, the earth is 6,000 years old etc, it's proven the opposite to be true. That's the problem religion has with science, is science has proven so many of it's most important tenets to be absolutely 100% false.

The serpent was not a snake to begin with and it was Satan who spoke through the serpent, not the serpent it's self, Jesus was resurrected by the very people who witnessed it and the earth is not just 6,000 years old. That is a minority's view of Christians who believe that. The Bible does not say how old the earth is.

I had faith, yes. Then I proved it to myself. That's quite different than reading a science journal and taking on "faith" what is printed there. Look at the scandal from global warming info. A lot of people had faith in global warming until the lid was blown off.

See there you go, you're denying basic scientific fact when you say a man died and came back to life. So why is it that you can't stomach denying basic scientific facts now and you have to twist those basic facts into something unbelieveable?

Blind belief versus the scientific method is hardly hair splitting. I know you'd probably like it to be, but it's not. Science is all about proving or disproving one's hypothesis, not faith or belief in it. So in fact it's not hair splitting at all.

Science allowed the technology that gave you the computer screen you are looking at, the keys you are typing on, the shoes and clothes you are wearing, the paint on your walls, the carpeting on your floor, the nails in your home, the tires on your car, the metal on your car or bike, EVERYTHING around us is thanks to SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY...

I find it funny that you accept the fruits of science in nearly all aspects life yet reject it in the case of evolution. The same science that produces technology is used to consider, develop , test, and use evolution to further our knowledge of the universe.
