The GOP has placed its future in the hands of a Senator with 9 months experience

Are they freaking crazy?

They allow him to dictate that we should shut down the government?

They have allowed libertarians to take over their party. A mindset that has less then a 5th of the country believes in.

Obama and his free shit give a way is also partly to blame for the coming to power of these people. Kind of like the Nazi's of the 1930's came to power in response of something....

We moderates and conservatives that want sanity need to fight this shit.

There are bills in the senate right now to fund your dear leaders stated priorities and he refuses to take yes for an answer, so he is the one keeping government workers at home.

Freaking crazy? The democrat senate majority leader tried to intimidate American Military personnel when he told them "the war (in Iraq) is lost". He should be in prison.

funny you mention that
he knows more about the COTUS than any Dems I know of. with YEARS of experience!
hence, the modern day left :)

Why would anyone in his right mind write that?

I expect it's the result of a sudden masochistic urge.

The libertarian coming to power(tea-party) is a response to the free shit give away. Extremism sucks and people need to come to reality before this does some serious damage to our nation.

Think of the gamble from the Republucan Party

Shutting down the Government can cost them the House. It will drive voters away from the Republican Party. It will hang over their heads for years

Why?
In another hopeless ploy to repeal Obamacare?

On the advice of a Senator with 9 months political experience?

In 2008 the country put it's future in the hands of a man with pretty much the same amount of experience in the Senate I asked the same question.

AMAZING!
One man and only ONE man can shut down the government.
Before he became a Senator:
Cruz was a partner at the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where he led the firm’s U.S. Supreme Court and national appellate litigation practice.

He was Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 to May 2008.

Between 1999 and 2003, Cruz served as the director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission, an Associate Deputy Attorney General at the United States Department of Justice, and as Domestic Policy Advisor to U.S. President George W. Bush on the 2000 Bush-Cheney campaign.
In addition, Cruz was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught U.S. Supreme Court litigation, from 2004 to 2009.

Allow who to dictate a government shut down?

There are only two people responsible for the government partial shutdown.

Obama and Reid.

Obama now has 5 years experience and Reid has far too many years to even be cognizant of his surroundings.

Cruz is the least of their problems, the GOP has been suffering from endemic stupidity for the last 20 years.

Cruz is merely a symptom of a much more serious, deep-rooted problem.

Does 3 years make you feel better? The freaking Country elected a community activist with pretty much zero activity in his three years as a US senator and we are in a world of hurt after about six years as president and meanwhile the radical left whines about the unfairness of only controlling 2/3 of the federal government.

Republicans, Obama and the democrats are all to blame. Republicans just have the nerve to throw 800k people out of work for such a stupid reason.

Both parties are full of radicals and this is quickly becoming about who can go the other direction the furthest. To hell with the workers and status of our nation within the world...

Fuck science
Fuck the economy
fuck sanity

the problem with being a radical is it isn't logical.

Wow Ted Cruz was able to shut down the government basically all by himself with less than a year of experience in the Senate impressive. If he was able to steamroll both the House Republicans and Senate Democrats on this who knows he might make a good President.
