Because they are not a problem. According to some sources there are 8 million alleged "Assualt" rifles in the country...about 5 million AR-15s.....and only 1 of them was used to commit those murders.

so 5,000,000 to 1.......and Americans use them all the time for sport, hunting, self defense and collecting...
