The largest transfer of wealth in the history of the world...

If you can’t recognize the obvious impact that big box corporations are having on small businesses

Wait.....are you telling me that more efficient big corporations have an impact on small business?

Wow!
Where are you getting this efficiency argument from?

Jimmy John's is cheaper because they're less efficient?
What are you talking about?

Consumers didn’t just decide they like Papa John’s more. They decided they liked paying $12 for a pizza instead of $20. And papa John’s can work on lower margins
Because they have buying power.

Lower margins....buying power?

Sounds like they're more efficient.

Unless you have a different explanation?
Haha. More wealthy. Ya know... the topic of the thread

Jimmy John's is cheaper because they're more wealthy?

You're making less and less sense.
It’s ok don’t sweat it. I don’t have any more interest discussing it with you, perhaps some day it will click and you’ll understand

I'd never sweat your ignorance.

You’re the one not getting it and asking stupid questions. Pretend that I’m the ignorant one though if that makes you feel better. Talking to you is like talking to a child

Oh good, Spain, that has worked well. If i ever move to Spain, I know where not to work. Pretty good for an overseas operation. How many of their products have you bought? None?
Zero, the same number of physical products I've bought from Bezos's sweat shop; worker self directed management is an idea that's older than you or I, and it will come to the "Land of Opportunity" eventually.

Workers' self-management - Wikipedia

"Workers' self-management, also referred to as labor management and organizational self-management, is a form of organizational management based on self-directed work processes on the part of an organization's workforce.

"Self-management is a defining characteristic of socialism, with proposals for self-management having appeared many times throughout the history of the socialist movement, advocated variously by democratic, libertarian and market socialists as well as anarchists and communists."

I'm not the poor failure that you are, eh comrade?

Tired of failing, Fool?

The owner has to pay more in property tax.
And now the renters have to pay more.

Fucking government!!!
The owner doesn't own the property without government.
Why not cut out the (parasitic) middlemen?

You'd have loved Cabrini Green.

Do you grasp the fact that you would not own your property without paying taxes?

I don't know what that has to do with it. My point is that we have to pass our costs down to our tenants to keep the roofs over our heads. I try to freeze the rents on all my current tenants. If one leaves, that's when I'll increase the price on a unit.

Despite their enormous power, shareholders are the sole group exempt from the requirement to be productive.
What would you know about being productive, Parasite?

The Incredibly Unproductive Shareholder

"Investors’ money reaches corporate coffers only when companies sell new equity, which major companies rarely do.

"Among the companies making up the Dow Jones Industrials, only a handful have sold new common stock in the last 30 years.

"Many haven’t sold any in 50 years.

"According to the Federal Reserve and the SEC, sales of common stock today represent only about one of every $100 traded on exchanges.

"Nearly all the money 'invested' in public companies, in other words, just goes from one speculator to another."

I’m sure it is already here, I’m telling you not many have an incentive to be apart of such an operation. There are many that are content without risking their capital and giving their lives to a business. I’ve ran many businesses and I’m past that point, I’m now in it for fun without risk.

The problem with your idea is it fails more often than it will ever succeed. Nice dream but the track record of 99% of those types of platforms is failure because the reward is to little and the direction often becomes in too many and the incentive to produce is low and the ability to keep pace with the market is not there as decisions take way too much time.

Because doing it our way, the American Way has built the greatest most prosperous nation on earth in a short 244 years.
You fail to understand some very basic shit...just like companies and sports teams don't tailor the workings of their enterprises around their worst players / employees this nation doesn't tailor its workings around parasitic bottom feeders / under achievers. Sucks for you huh?
