The Poisoning of Flint, MI.

Did he force the residents to drink the tap water?

Pretty much, yeah.

How about we place the blame where it belongs, on the people that contaminated the water in the first place.

:uhh: Are you even paying attention? Do you know anything about this? Or are you just talking for the sake of hearing your own voice?

Rachel Maddow should be charged with poisoning people with hate. Why anyone listens to that ugly dyke is beyond me.

Such a reasoned and well thought out response.

The governor of the state poisoned the people of Flint. He knew it and didn't stop it. He lied about it, tried to discredit the people that warned him about it...and then had to admit it.

And you make it about Rachel Maddow who did nothing more than report on it.
He did no such thing. Except in the minds of people who are very very confused.
Maddow is stirring up the stupid, the ill informed, and the easily led. In other words, people just like you.

Yes he did. His emergency manger overrode the vote last March to stop taking drinking water from the river. The Emergency Manager answers only to Snyder. Snyder is solely responsible. There's no way out of this one.
OK so Snyder had nothing to do with it. Thanks for affirming that.

This is the kind of reasoning that lead poisoning causes. It's all so sad.

Really? when and how did Rick Snyder go about doing this? Did he force the dumb fucks in flint to use lead plumbing too?

WTF are you babbling about? Or didn't you realize that lead wasn't introduced into the water supply naturally?

See the issue is that Snyder is a Republican. If he had been a Democrat it would have been Bush's fault.

Read the links. The state was grossly negligent.

There is lead in most water pipes. What happened was that the water source was switched from lake water to river water. River water is more corrosive due to the higher levels of salt and must be treated before it enters the pipes or it will corrode them, releasing lead into the water.

The state KNEW that the lead levels were going up. Instead of doing something about it when they first learned of it, they tried to discredit all the people that pointed the fact out to them.

Gross and willful negligence poisoned the people of Flint.

Putting facts not in evidence. The Democrats who doubtless controlled the DEQ fiddled with the samples. It isnt clear why.

Yes....the Emergency Manager appointed by Snyder stripped the local government of nearly all legislative power...

So the City is totally powerless to do anything???? Sounds like Progs needed another excuse for their inevitable failures

They presented a plan? what? I'm not watching Madcow so forget that

That's right, the city was powerless to do anything because Governor Rick Snyder suspended the democratic process in his state, appointing "Emergency Managers" that usurped the authority of the mayor and city council.

Of course you won't watch Maddow...she uses words too big for you. I'm sorry this isn't something Hannity and his tic tac brain would cover, but it shows Republican policies in a bad light so you'll never see it there.

Toxic Water In Michigan Begins And Ends With Governor Rick Snyder

This event is a very good example of government incompetence. It is not a political issue, since clearly politicians of both parties are corrupt, liars, and thieves...and those people working in government bureaucracies, such as the Michigan DEQ, are generally no different than the pols they serve.

That's your answer? To invent a new conspiracy? You really are an idiot....
