Does it not seem that the Republicans just don't to win elections. Maybe they enjoy the campaigning and mud slinging more than actually governing. Their stance on abortion sure seems to bear that out.

By a large majority, Americans do not support legislation restriction a woman's right to choose. Why haven't Republicans got the message? They continue to support the phony pro-life indicted Donald Trump who demonstrated his total disregard for women by appointing anti-abortion judges. Look at hard core conservative Kansas who failed to pass a constitutional amendment outlawing abortion.

Look at "Don't say gay" Ron DeSantis, widely loved by Republicans and viewed as a successor to Donald Trump. Last night he slinks back into Florida from a campaign trip and signs a bill into law that further restricts already restricted abortion access in Florida. And, he did it in the dark of night behind closed doors.

Well, thank goodness the Republicans learned nothing from their 2022 election failures and seem hell bent on losing bigly to Democrats in 2024.

President biden could do no better if he wanted to.

Margaret Sanger was in fact against abortion for decades, when she waged her famous battles for birth control and women’s reproductive rights. She in fact worked with prominent African American freedom fighters like W.E.B. Dubois and helped raise funds to eventually open up a birth control and woman’s health clinic in black Harlem. Only later in her life did she became both a founder of Planned Parenthood and a supporter of a woman’s right to choose to end unwanted pregnancies.

As an activist for women’s rights far ahead of her times, she was not immune to popular pseudo-scientific prejudices of those days, but neither was Dubois or other early founders of the NAACP. She, like them, was interested in improving the health and well-being of future generations, and noted that poverty and degradation and constant pregnancy and huge families condemned African American women and their children (like many poor Irish & other immigrant families in urban ghettos) to backwardness. It was a factor holding women, the human race and all “races” back. She was not a “racist” — but quite the opposite by the standards of her times.

This sort of charge is raised also against the modern abortion rights movement. In actual fact educating and offering alternatives to unwanted pregnancies to black and poor women was not done to “wipe out the black race” or any other race but rather to aid African Americans to have opportunities white women also had. Perhaps the charge of “vehement racism” is just a projection of white racists’ own subconscious desires onto a progressive movement — or just one that reflects reactionary (or religious) movements’ own lunacy and ignorance.

Black women overwhelmingly see through these lies and are strong supporters of their own right to plan families and to decide when to have — and not have — children. In this they are like most American white women, and most thoughtful and caring American men too.

Only, when god aborts a baby through miscarriage we just say "oh well, it was meant to be, the thing just wasn't meant to survive."
It is interesting to note that one third of all children on earth are living in such miserable, abject poverty and starvation condiditions that every single day of their existence is little more than an excercise in slow torture. Yet somehow "god" wants them ALL to be born?

#2. This illusion of humans being anything other than animals is partly to blame for this misguided belief that aborting a fetus is the same thing as "murdering those cutsie-cutsie, wittle, cudly, darling BABIES."

Human offspring, or babies are no exception.
Animals....WILD animals for that matter.
If not trained and conditioned to act "human" and civilized then they will remain wild animals too.

A more realistic way to look at the whole
thing is that modern science & medicine is a gift from "god" and the safe and humane procedure of terminating a pregnancy is "god's" way of elevating the human animal so that the unwanted offspring of this animal is not forced to be born into a world and into circumstances where it is not wanted and be doomed to a life of misery and torture.
Unlike all the other animals that never have a choice...because of course, they don't have science and medicine.

It is documented that, in most cases where rescued children were very young before becoming feral they do not recover or develop the ability to speak or adjust to normal life and in some cases do not even move as normal human beings, preferring to continue for a long time to walk on all fours, climb trees, eat raw flesh, etc.. There are only a few instances where they have completely adjusted to a normal life - speaking, reading, writing, and communicating. There are several instances where the rescued child became the subject of intensive scientific research – to attempt to determine the origin of speech and language.
