The Republican war on the Poor

1) No. Clothing doesn't tell you what political party, if any, you choose to belong to. The guy could be a Democrat. He could be a Republican. He could be a Libertarian. He could belong to no party at all. You can't tell that from a picture.

2) Even if you could determine what political party he belonged to, you would have no evidence that he hated the poor. No political party hates the poor. And even if there was a political party that hated the poor, simply being a member of the party doesn't mean you agree with everything the party stands for.

:lol::lol::lol: Of course....:lol::lol: Not a clue!

If you want to lie to yourself, that's fine. Show some evidence of them hating the poor. or anyone.

Here, I have evidence that Republicans hate the Poor...

According to Brooks, conservative-headed households give 30 percent more to charity than liberal-headed households, on average, although liberal families' incomes are higher. Conservatives also donate more time and give more blood.

Free lunch over for 280,000 low-income children

What I don't understand is whether or not USMB Republicans even know what their leaders are doing. They say they don't believe it until you show them beyond a doubt and then they say that supporting a party doesn't mean supporting everything it does. In the words of Bush, "if you aren't against it, then you are for it".

lying dirtbags. All libturds. A ll of them

From your link:

a higher proportion of conservatives are religious and, thus, report routinely giving to churches and faith-based ministries.

Get it pinhead? They give to the churches they go to, to help the people they already know.

Besides, most of the money the Catholic Charities gets comes from the government. Bush did that with his "faith based" charities scheme.

Finally,

Just giving someone some shit doesn't help them out. Republicans don't understand this because they are against education and science. No one get's more help than Red States. And they get that help from Blue States. Money flows from the liberals to tarded Republicans. What a waste of money.

You're a scumbag

When Republicans don't believe in science or education, where is they think money is coming from? Red States have very little industry. The good workers they do get, they have to bribe from Blue States. They aren't allowed to keep slaves anymore. The only Red States with a lot of money are digging for oil. Something they didn't even make themselves.

The Republicans' War on Food Stamps | Politics News | Rolling Stone

The House's deep slash to the food-stamp program, combined with outlandish restrictions, arose from various impulses. There was, obviously, the long-standing animus within the Republican Party toward poor people, and that's been substantially intensified as a result of the transformation of the party, whose center of gravity has moved south and west.

Moreover, a minority of the party in the House, backed by powerful and wealthy outside interest groups, has seized the reins by throwing terror into the ranks that if they don't conform to the Tea Party's agenda, they could face defeat in a primary challenge from the right in the next election. Bob Dole's and George McGovern's time is long gone. Neither the Senate, nor the House, nor American politics are anything like they were in their time. The Republican Party in the Senate contains no Jacob Javits, the late New York senator who fought to protect food stamps. Among the Democrats, there's no Edward Kennedy to champion the causes of the poor, to even enjoy doing battle for them.

One of the few unabashed liberals, Tom Harkin of Iowa, is retiring after five terms. Harkin was born into modest means, which he has never forgotten – he needed no lectures about bootstraps.

Women, Hispanics, the Poor....Where will the GOP go next with its never ending battle with anyone who is not a wealthy, white male?

Confederates who play in pigshit hate poor people. Go figure.

why are you such a liar and a two faced hack?

Science spending is up under Republican administrations.

rdean's world:

there are no poor liberals in "red" states, only poor republicans

That's not the case but if the area is red there would be more republicans there. But since Rdean said the sky is blue you start yelling "Its WHITE too you dummy!"

Congressional Black Caucus Freaks Out After Food Stamp Benefits Are Decreased By Just $10 A Month…

How will they ever survive?

Via WCGU:

South Florida Democrat Alcee Hastings and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus are decrying a massive cut to food stamps that takes place tonight. House Republicans want even deeper reductions.

According to politicians and nutritional experts, losing $10 a month per person in a low income household in south Florida could have catastrophic impacts. That $10 is being lopped off food assistance locally because Congress is allowing a $5 billion cut to the program nationally.

Congressman Alcee Hastings says the repercussion’s will be lasting.

“All of the evidence points to the health of children being connected with the food that they receive in the early stages of their life”, warned Hastings.

Hastings says the cuts don’t make sense in an already wobbly recovery.

please keep quiet so you don't look like the fool. btw...rdean never mentions poor liberals in red states, he acts as if there are only poor republicans, so in essence, using your lame analogy, he is saying the sky is always blue.

Although it will NEVER be made public, I would love to see the statistics on food stamp purchases. What is the average amount spent per transaction, how many transactions per person per month, what are the average purchases consisting of? How much is spent per person on prepared foods, sodas, candies, chips, versus how much is spent on staples like flour and rice and peanut butter.

All I have seen, including a couple Neg Reps, is insults. Can someone defend the huge cuts in food stamps to the poor, the aged, and children?

There is no fucking huge cut in food stamps. They are being cut back to where they were in 2007. How many people were starving in 2007? yeah, none.
You are a fucking troll. No soup for you.

Ok technically true...but you know since there are no such things as absolutes. You know that there isn't a state with every citizen being in one party.

Rdean isn't saying that but if that's what you believe he is saying then just go on the fact that there is no such thing as absolutes. So if I say birds fly you don't have to tell me about the ostrich.
