The Right Wing had better be right about this "Deep State" stuff.

I cannot watch Hannity. It's not that I COULD watch him but refuse. I find him unwatchable, and will not.

I don't watch anything.

I don't even have cable anymore. It's 9000 channels of redundant bullshit.

I listen to the radio, and on the way home Hannity is the only thing on. It's barely tolerable and often enough the ride home is silent.

I do go out of my way to listen to Levin's friday pod cast over the weekends though. Otherwise I don't immerse myself with this shit, I just like to ridicule moonbats who immerse themselves in easily refutable agitprop.

Levin is much, MUCH preferable to Hannity. I like Tucker Carlson's show too. He's not on radio however--not sure about podcasts.

1. Agreed.

2. I don't recall. Did you make a similar post when your fellow libs were ginning up the Witch Hunt?
Of course. And a handy example is right here in this thread. Post 6.
.

Mac, "I'm better than all you partisans here!"

Everyone: "You're also kind of a sanctimonious ass about it."

Mac: "There you go making it all about ME again, sheesh!"

Take stock. Mac.
Cool, thanks!
.

Look at your signature, Mac. I can sum it up for you, along with about 75% of your posts: "You're a partisan and I'm not: 15 ways that makes me better than you."
Good gawd. You just keep going.

I guess I'll somehow have to find a way to proceed without your approval.

I hope I can do this!

On the other hand, I think you should say whatever you'd like, in any way you like.

We're different like that.

An aide ‘destroyed’ 13 phones from Hillary with a hammer.

Do you think that is the SOP for control of security data from such a high ranking government official?

No way. You take the chip out of the phone and you either grind it up or melt it. A smashed phone just means you pick out the chip and now you have all the data. A smashed phone done by a low level worker bee who has no clue what they are doing.

As an auditor I would simply ask for evidence the data was destroyed. They have no evidence because smashing a case and cracking a screen does nothing to protect the data inside.

It was an act of panic that skirted Government protocols for handling security intel. Yet nobody questioned it.

So here we go, I guess.

This is no longer going to be some fevered conspiracy story born of one of Mark Levin's fevered hyper-partisan conspiracy books. It's no longer going to be the foundation of President Hannity's hyper-partisan radio and teevee shows, buttressed by the manic "reporting" of his small band of like-minded "investigative reporters" (Out-of-Control Sean Hannity Thumbs His Nose at Fox News Bosses).

It's no longer going to be this alternate-universe "blockbuster" narrative that a relatively small group of people know like the back of their hand, as if they're convinced that "Breaking Bad" or "Game of Thrones" are documentaries.

You're accusing the American government, all the way to the top, of conspiring to spy on and bring down a presidential candidate and an American President. Key players in this accusation include a Special Counsel, a former Director of National Intelligence, a former FBI Director, former Secretary of State and a former President. Not to mention any number of lower-level government conspirators. The Deep State.

Bottom line: If you folks are right about this whole thing, it's a huge, historic story and must be addressed with historic attention, seriousness and care. If it's just a product of your fevered alternate universe, you deserve whatever you get.

Hopefully we'll soon know, once and for all, what actually happened. If anything.
.

They're not. A court ordered investigation is not spying.

Neither is Constitutionally mandated Congressional oversight.

Putting the national security of the United States in jeopardy by exposing operatives and methods IS treason.

Barr and Trump better tread lightly. There is no statute of limitations on treason.
Wrong on many counts.

A court ordered the spying, but it was just legal spying.

We are now waiting to see if that court order was obtained legally or not. Did Team Hillary lie to the court? It appears yes. That’s a felony.

'The Right Wing had better be right about this "Deep State" stuff. '

They’re not.

There is no ‘deep state’ – the notion is a ridiculous rightwing contrivance intended to deflect from Trump’s incompetence and contempt for our democratic institutions, and another one of Trump’s moronic conspiracy theories.

The huge story is was their an attempted coup upon our government or not. Right now all of the evidence appears to be yes. So if Trump is not assassinated, we should see the culprits see justice.

If Trump remains alive and the whole thing fizzles away to oblivion with nothing happening, I’m not sure what the answer is.
The problem is that the "evidence" has largely been provided by one hyper-partisan side of the spectrum. I don't care which side it comes from, but "evidence" like that is essentially worthless until fully proven and corroborated. Look at the mountains of "evidence" provided by Rachel Maddow on collusion.

If this evidence is all correct, great.
.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

While I respect the O.P.'s consistent attempts to look at things from an objective point, I believe he fails most of the time because he is in fact a liberal Democrat at heart---not one of these new types who are absolutely bat shit crazy---but very liberal nonetheless, say what he might.

Above, he says the evidence so far has been supplied by one very partisan side. This reminds me of a comment by Plutarch, who wrote during the time of Christ, who said History was so hard to write because the people who actually witnessed it happening did not agree on the fact, or if they did, they did not agree on the effect, value or meaning. They saw them based on their partisan predilections.

But, it is not one side's "Evidence". We are dealing with only one side reporting the FACTS.

It is a fact that two high ranking FBI agents deeply involved in both the Clinton and Trump Investigations had this basic conversation:

Lisa Page: "O God, Trump is not going to be President is he. Tell me he is not."

Peter Strzok: "No, no, he won't. We will stop it."

That in and of itself is a scandal bigger than Watergate to many, and it is dismissed as Lover's talk by partisans on the opposite side, partisans like the O.P.---but it is FACT, it happened during the 2016 election campaign and during investigations in which Peter Strzok was a key man---and it is not tainted evidence just because only FOX News will talk about it..

There are plenty more FACTS that are only being reported by one side because the New York Media is essentially an extension of the Democratic/Socialist Party----but they are facts nonetheless---not just the "evidence of one side".

These FACTS are never refuted---they can't be; they are merely ignored or dodged---which would tell the O.P. something if he was not actually just another blind partisan..

Obama is not likely to go down. Deals will be made way before that, because America has a treasured tradition against such a thing, so as not to look like a Banana Republic by putting its ex-officers in jail. Its why Ford pardoned Nixon.

But it is a FACT that Comey, in his official capacity as Director of the FBI, met with the President of the USA, then wrote a Memo of the meeting in his official capacity---which became the property of the people of this country---which he then stole and leaked to the New York Times to serve his own personal partisan purposes.

FACTS are not less FACTS just because you hypocrites are watching Rachael Maddow and getting Bullshit.

Your side is the middle, and in your mind the partisan Left can never be right, the partisan Right can never be right--only the middle is ever really right.

It's hilarious to me you don't see the irony in your game. I see it, and laugh.
He voted for Hillary. He's part of the left. He likes to think of himself as a "moderate."

Yuck!? HRC? After what happened in Benghazi she was never getting my vote
That's "moderate" to the Dems

That's "moderate" to the Dems

"Moderates" are bullshitters.

They're still libs. You can't have a "moderate" opinion or conclusion on questions of RIGHT OR WRONG.

If it's wrong to steal, you can't be a democrook, leftist, regressive, marxist etc.

There is no doubt the Deep State exists. It has been in place for decades. However I would question just about anything promoted by Hannity and Levin. Partisans of either party can’t be trusted.

There is no doubt you're full of shit. There is no Deep State. That's a lie Putin tells Trump and you believe it.

It is true, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, once you see the FACTS, and not opinion.

If you want to know enough to get a grasp of the situation, just look at Christine Kavelicks (I think that is how you spell her name) notes, when she interviewed Steele 10 days before the 1st FISA. Her notes alone, should tell you that the FBI should NEVER have requested a FISA on the evidence they had.

Also---------->you will know 100% we are correct, when the dump comes out, because Halper TAPED the conversation he had, and there is exculpatory evidence in the tape, and transcripts.

By the way--------->Wonder why it was decided to be released when it was?

BECAUSE a certain head of government resigned. SHE (hint, hint) had her government highly involved in this, and the last time Trump was going to release, VOCIFEROUSLY fought against it.

For people with an IQ over 10, I have a question-------------> Who on this board believes that an FBI/CIA spying operation, would be conducted on the soil of a 5 eyes partner, WITHOUT that 5 eyes partners governments knowledge, especially while having a former spy of that country, be the one spewing the dirt, AND the SPY taping a conversation...….working for BOTH countries!

If you do, I have large tracs of swampland in Florida, I will sell you reasonable-)

Rachel Maddow is the enemy of the people.
If this stuff is proven to be fantasy, so are Hannity and Levin.

Considering everything is based on sworn congressional testimony and peoples actions, it would be hard to prove it a fantasy. The only question is was it due to nefarious intent or was it justified. Comey signed a FISA warrant application which included the Steele dossier, saying it was verified and less than 2 weeks later told Trump it was salacious and unverified. McCabe told congress, without the dossier there would have been no FISA warrant. Steele told a British court that the dossier was raw intelligence and was unverified. This isn't rocket science.

You don't get to talk about "resistance" with government officials, and then whine when we talk about it seriously.

Spoken like a true DNCMSM adherent. You and your kind are feeble minded dupes, but the political and wealthy capitalist class loves you.

What concerns me as much as anything on this, is that if (bolded, underlined) this is found to be largely fantasy, it won't matter. The response from the Right will be that the Deep State was able to cover it up, or something like that.

It looks like the evidence of high level corruption is quite obvious and clear. This could be the biggest scandal in the history of the nation and we need to know what exactly happened and who was behind it. If it is allowed to be swept under the rug, it will happen again but on a bigger scale.

I want to see a transcript of the "accidental" tarmac meeting between Bubba clinton and Lynch. What kind of deal did they make, how much was she paid? do you care?

Fast N Furious REALLY HAPPENED. It was ignored by the media, stonewalled by the meat puppet faggot, and Holder was held in contempt. The political will of the country didn't demand accountability, because the political awareness of the country was that the RNC just wanted to impeach the DNC's messiah, at least as far as the media's polls showed.

Same with Benghazi... Our people died, and it was entirely preventable. For whatever reason, and I've heard some plausible and some seemingly wacky stories as to why our government ignored the event, the leftist media chose to cover it as a witch hunt. Leftist media still controls a disproportionate amount of the narrative.

Going as far back as the FBI File scandal democrooks have yet to be held accountable for what are seriously egregious crimes. Ted Kennedy KILLED a woman. Yet we are to believe democrooks give a fruit fly's fuck about the law or simple RIGHT OR WRONG?

I don't believe AG Barr is going to have the sack to push the issue, arrest and prosecute those who need to be in prison.

Ted Cruz might, because he clearly doesn't give a shit about going to their parties.

Fair enough. Should they get the same 2 years the Democrats got ?

They do not need 2 years, they already have the evidence. What they needed was an non-recused AG, and now they have one.

The only question is--------->Will the Left go to court, and try and block the release?

Of course they will, and use every excuse in the book besides, "we don't want to get busted!"

Connecting the dots on what mostly happened, is not hard at all; especially when you see the reactions to different things from politicians. Leftists refuse to connect the dots, because that means they have to admit they were wrong, so they double down trying to avoid their Waterloo.

The only REAL question is---------------> Since if (it is) true, then the Democrats are just as aware of it as the GOP. How will moderate Democrats react, when they find out that THEIR side tried to frame a President, which is much worse than Watergate.

If THEY vote DEMOCRAT in this election after that, then they are no moderates! The WHOLE hate for Trump was ginned up by him being TREASONOUS, and they are the ones who pulled off the hoax to be able to call him that! At the very least, they should be staying home on election night in DISGUST!

If they DO NOT at least do that, then it really is, PARTY over COUNTRY!

Nixon took the walk of shame, and it was the REPUBLICANS who went to the Oval Office, and told him he had to. How many of YOU MODERATE DEMOCRATS, are going to demand that your Senators and Congresspeople who have been promoting this hoax, take that SAME WALK!
