The Russia/Ukraine war is not going the way we were told

Putin has proven that he is a brilliant political strategist by making the U.S. and EU look like nattering nitwits; and also has proven himself an astute military tactician second to none with his masterful prosecution of the war against Ukraine. ...

Putin's Russia is single handedly standing up to the diabolical globalist commie cabal and defeating them politically, economically, and militarily, on the world's stage.
Bullshit! - Russian economy is down over 50%. A Toyota now cost 11,000,000 rubles in Russia. Stores selling downgraded junk, less selection, empty shelves, high prices, mall traffic down 50%.

You have zero idea what you are talking about. ... :cuckoo:
Russia is doing fine, the store selves are fully stocked, grocery prices are down, gasoline is cheaper than in America, and the Ruble is stronger than its ever been both locally and internationally.
The Russian people are happy about the way things have turned out and Putin is more popular than ever.
There are several Youtubers in Russia that I've followed for a long time. Who go to malls, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc., and film the prices and then convert them from rubles to US dollars.

All of the closed MacDonalds and equipment was purchased by a Russian company and reopened under a different name selling hamburgers and fries Russian style. ...

As long as our weapons continue to kill Russians, it is money well spent

No its not.
Killing people needlessly is always evil, destructive, etc.
All people have relatives.
This war is not good, and it should be ended as quickly as possible, by the Ukraine surrendering.

Putin’s army is proving to be an inept fighting force as their high tech weapons are running out and they have to resort to Soviet era weapons

Wrong.
Russia started with T-72 tanks and has not risked anything newer than a T-90.
Russia has not lost a single modern tank.
The lost 400 tanks so far, and have about 3000.

Putin has demonstrated to the world that he doesn’t have an Army capable of countering NATO

Wrong.
Russia never built an offensive military, but a defensive one.
And Russia also has the same anti tank missiles as we are giving the Ukraine, so NATO tanks attacking Russia would also be wiped out.
What this tells us is that tanks likely are obsolete.

Don’t see Russian tanks driving down Main Street Kiev

Kyiv is where the population is Ukrainian, and were calling in Russia positions.
By shifting to the east, like the Donetsk, there are no Ukrainians living there, only ethnic Russians, so no one is betraying their positions any more.

Regardless of how much money and weapons the western nations funnel into Ukraine, there is absolutely no way that Putin is ever going to allow Russia to lose the war against Ukraine.
The leadership of Japan in 1945 weren't going to allow Japan to lose the war with the USA either. Reality didn't agree. I think the absolute best Putin can hope for at this point is a draw.

Due to the increase in oil prices, Russia is 5 times wealthier than it was before.
Russia has no debt, so is immune to the economic sanctions.
Turkey, China, and other countries are fronting the Russia oil to avoid the sanctions.
And by the way, economic sanctions on civilian commerce is entirely illegal according to the 1906 Hague Conventions the US ratified.

Putin has to win, so he will, no matter what it takes.
He would be reviled as a traitor if he allowed the Ukraine to join NATO.
He will nuke the Ukraine and the US before letting that happen.
That is because if he allow NATO nukes on Russia's border, from then on, Russia could no longer argue anything NATO wanted.

You're kidding right? The Cold War Russian Army was designed to do nothing except conquer Western Europe. All you have to do is look at the weapons and equipment it had. Massive amounts of armor and APCs. Massive numbers of towed artillery pieces. Rapid bridging equipment to cross rivers after NATO blew the bridges. Huge numbers of mobile SAMs and FLAK guns, large numbers of mechanized minefield clearing vehicles. Large numbers of short ranged, rough field capable fighters and fighter bombers. Every piece of equipment designed for mobile aggressive warfare.

It doesn’t work like that

Ukraine had no intention of surrendering and intends to make Russias invasion as unpleasant as possible

A draw would mean Russia will maintain territory they already occupy
Given their harsh treatment of civilians and massive, unnecessary civilian casualties, Russia will not be treated as liberators.
They will need substantial troop presence to occupy captured territory. Expect NATO funded resistance to last for decades

When the politicians and media told us Russia wouldnt last more than a couple weeks, and everyone put up their Ukraine flags….way back in late February when this started.

It has almost been 5 months. It seems we have lost interest in this story as Americans. It was the next big deal in March….now it’s barely mentioned, other than an excuse for high gas prices.

Its very sad for all involved. Russia is not losing. If the US did not intervene p, thousands of lives would have been saved. Ukraine would have given up those eastern territories and we could have moved on.

At least $80 billion in US taxpayer money went to the Military Industrial Complex.
Joe started that war, and now nobody wants to talk about it.

Instead they want to watch a Kangaroo Court and a 6th year of false allegations leveled by a Nazified Weaponized Government at The Honorable Donald J Trump.

the news telling you that? or are you there?
YouTube channel "Inside Russia" and he admits he has to choose his words carefully so Russian sensors don't shut him down.

Currency gets strong in recessions because lack of circulation prevents it from driving up demand. Russia is in a serious recession, demand is very low because they don't have money to spend.

Putin starts wars when oil gets above $80 so he can fund his military. Now that oil prices are dropping, he will soon lose that revenue also.
