The Sad Misguided Life of George Carlin. He was NOT a genius, and NOT a hero.

It's amazing to watch these self-described god people as they go about worrying about everything and constantly looking for some perceived evil around every corner. They see evil everywhere and in every word spoken by non believers. They even see the devil in stand up comics. Must be a shitty way to live.. never seen such anal retentive bozos in my life. Were all you god guys toilet trained at gunpoint or something?

Sure you just got here, but this is an emergency! Nothing personal mind you. It's just really really important for you to appreciate that there's this Big Sky Daddy up there and that He's a leading cause of death. See, if He's not with you.. you're basically f--ked. Kaput. Dead. So we must fixate upon death in this life, then maybe He lets us live a while. But there's also this weird extension called "the afterlife" to worry about. No worries, we'll keep telling you all about that the rest of your life. You sure don't want to risk missing out on a golden opportunity like that.. Well do ya, Punk?

Well. grumble my nuts! I never thought about it like that.
I've heard about the term,"afterlife" but never paid it much attention because I thought it was just a disgusting gooey mess like its cousin, the "After Birth!" And so I've always kept a mop and bucket at the ready for that purpose. But now I understand that it's not a steaming mass of slime but an opportunity to stay here and listen to these same morons as they beat us over the head with a creepy book and tell us how to live the most boring life possible. Well, I've considered both sides now and I have but one question. Can I trade the after life for some after birth? And then once the white house toilets are fixed, I can get together with their Orange god, me with my after birth and he with some damning evidence of his evil deeds and we can perform a "Royal Flush." Because I just can't listen to another boring ass, self righteous hypocrite for another fuckin' minute!

Would you hire a drunk living over a grate downtown to be your life coach? Absurd notion, isn’t it?

Well, if you read the comments of thousands of his fans on George Carlin’s online videos, people appear willing to do just that. His most popular appearance videos; the one against religion and the one pushing abortion drew heaping praise from hundreds of troubled commenters

Carlin is a big hit with the atheists due to his smug profane stand up routine against religion. They praise his life “wisdom” and “intelligence”. It's reminiscent of the bad kids in elementary school who seemed popular, the ones with the ugly sophistication who knew more about sex than they should have.

His other big routine was the one pushing abortion from his album “Back in Town”. It was pure evil venom. That routine was where the left got most of its now-trite talking points on abortion:

  • pro-life women are too ugly to have sex with
  • anti-abortion people are not pro-life; they’re pro-birth because they won’t make kids wards of the state.
  • Pro-life people kill abortion doctors
  • Pro-life people are hate women.
All these talking points came from Carlin in 1996. Prior to that, you never heard them. So much for leftwingers’ originality.

Early in his career, Carlin went for clean comedy. But then he made a pact with Satan, and started on the dark but lucrative road of going after filth and the seamy side of humanity. He made millions from the emotionally troubled people who reveled in his snark against everything decent. Sort of the way Hugh Hefner made millions from leading men to hell through porn. Or the way heavy-metal bands led unstable youth to drug use. Carlin found victims and exploited them for fame and fortune. The easiest money you can make.

The fact is, Carlin’s life was a trainwreck, starting from an early age. He abandoned the Catholic religion he was brought up in, and his life spun out of control. He was a troublemaker in school, having been expelled at age 15, and then court-martialed three times in his time in the Air Force.

He spent most of his adult life addicted to drugs and alcohol. At age 67, a time when most people have things figured out, Carlin had to go to a rehab center for the umpteenth time. His substance abuse exacerbated his health. He’d had three heart attacks before the one that killed him at the age of 71.

Ironically, the atheist left celebrates the worst people, and tries to destroy the great people. Carlin is treated as a folk hero by the left. He wasn't a hero. He was a sad sick misguided man who damaged his own child’s upbringing. He was a leading force in the degradation of society from the 1970s on, pushing indecency and filth. He wasn’t brilliant. He didn’t give sound advice. His schtick just appealed to weak people. Hopefully Carlin repented on his deathbed and saved his soul. Though we cannot really know the state of his mind nor the effects of events on his sanity, one might imagine he had much to answer for upon his death. But let it be a cautionary tale for the living. Care what happens to other people.

Let's start with full clips of Carlin, doing standup. Not a 1 minute clip...

Let's discuss that when you actually watch the whole thing. Because I really tried to believe...

I guess if atheists' lives were models of contentment, you might have a point. So why then do atheists lead all belief groups in drug addiction, alcoholism, broken relationships and suicides? And Carlin and Williams are the poster boys. One would think if you guys have the right answer on the most profound issue of life after death, then the simple stuff like being a functional human being would be a piece of cake.

The funny thing is you're doing the exact same thing in your incessant slamming of Trump and all Christians.

You're the only one worshiping here. To say I liked his work is a far cry from the mindless adoration fools like you have for someone who is cruel, misogynistic, racist, traitorous, dishonest, narcissistic and stupid beyond imagination. Let me ask you something. Do you ever laugh? That's the one trait that I see every time I encounter a religious nutjob. A total absence of a sense of humor, and total disdain for anyone who isn't one of your god cult. You can't stand the fact that there are many who disagree with the horse hooey you've swallowed for your entire life. And so uptight that you couldn't drive a pin up your ass with a sledge hammer. I feel sorry for you in a way because you'll carry all that baggage and senseless hatred to the grave with you. Could it be that the things you claim to hate about George Carlin are the things you won't admit about yourself? This streaming hatred comes from something and somewhere and I don't think it has much to do with Carlin. Like a whole lot of GOP loonies, you project onto him the things you struggle with. Are you a drinker? Drug user? Is your life a failure and a disappointment? That's it, isn't it?
Nope. I have maybe a beer every two months, never used a drug in my life, married to the same beautiful woman for 34 years. We didn't have sex before marriage, never used artificial birth control at any time. We raised our kids to never miss weekly Mass. Have five great productive kids. All attend weekly Mass on their own, all are Trump voting conservatives. I made millions of dollars, but have lived relatively modestly, and now I use my knowledge to raise money for a 100% volunteer charity that helps the disabled. I have dozens of churchgoing friends. All of them great people who live good lives. I've followed the rules of the Catholic faith as best as I can. I'm in good health. Walk 2.2 miles a day up hills, and I can still do ten pullups. You can hate me for all these things if you like, but my life has been great. I would like everyone to have what I have had. Forgive me if this sounds immodest, but it is to rebut your accusations of the opposite.

You claim I am uptight and have no fun, but don't understand there is freedom within righteous rules and great fun within following them. Following rules can be tough sometimes and inconvenient, but it's not hard to get used to them, and once you do, you see the wisdom in doing so, and things go so much smoother. Getting drunk, stoned, feeling horrible, and feeling angry and depressed all the time like Carlin and so many atheists do does not sound like fun. I would like to help people avoid those things by avoiding their root cause, which I believe is irreligion. It does anger me when vulnerable people are lured in by Carlin's vile message of hatred towards things that are good.

You only believe what you believe, because your ancestors were brutally murdered, raped, and the surviving women and children were forced to believe your religion, or die.

And many many hundreds of years later, you think your religion is the shit!

Your ancestors believed in other stuff, until they got snuffed out by your current religion.

So which one is right? The original? Or the bully one?

I've never heard anything about my ancestors facing those things. Do you have information I don't have?

No one cares about you your wife or your kids

So you're raising your kids to be little robots and to worship a scoundrel? That's some amazing parenting there, R2. A beer every two months? Then I suggest that you step up your consumption, get friends over to watch football and stop being such a regimented, boring butthole. BTW, I don't hate you. I pity you and your wife and kids. Like I said before, you must be a real hoot at a party. How often do you beat the little devils? I think they would prefer that to being preached to 24/7. Especially when you preach the gospel of Trump while using his example as a role model. You're screwing those kids up if that's what you're doing.
