The simple way to instantly fix health care!!!

Trump's plan is a huge bureaucratic libsocialist mess, much like Obamacare, that is hard to understand or support. What could be easily understood, broadly supported, easily understood and implemented, and reduce prices 80% is putting everyone on Medicare, publish prices, and give everyone vouchers to buy health care that could be converted to cash if unspent at the end of the year.

As prices slowly dropped 80%, the govt could reduce the vouchers , and taxes to pay for them, accordingly until eventually most people could afford their own health care.
Isn't Medicare going broke? At least the trust fund for Part A is and the other areas are on shaky financial ground as they depend on revenues. How does your plan fix these fiscal issues? It sounds like they will put more weight on an already unstable system, which I'm not sure was designed to handle the massive amount of people that your plan would bring in.
No, Medicare is not going broke. GOP says that to privatize i.

are you against privatizing it to reduce medical costs 80%??????????

You're right.

No, EdwardBaiamonte privatizing it would not save 80%. Think about it. 80%???

BTW, this is another of drumpf's lies. He said he would not screw with it but he will.

Yes Medicare is going broke now but by making it capitalist (vouchers and published prices) prices will come down 80% and it will be hugely in surplus.
and which point it will have a huge surplus.

No, Medicare is not going broke.
Vouchers help the well off but not the working class or poor.

broke?? what does that mean given that all it does is raise taxes at will so cant go broke. It costs 5 times what it should because it it is lib socialist and thus impoverishes all Americans.

Ever hear of East/West Germany??

All of Germany has Universal Care. That's what Medicare is.

Insurance companies cost about 5 percent of healthcare costs. Eliminating them will not result in a 20 percent drop let alone 80 percent. Medicare rates are subsidized by rates paid by other healthcare providers. My wife pays 430 dollars a month for a silver plan and I pay 122 a month for medicare and 0 for an advantage plan. You can't tell me that the insurance companies make up the 300 dollar difference.

I didn't say anything about eliminating insurance companies?????????? I said vouchers and competition would reduce prices 80%

Ryan and the GOP have convinced weakminded followers that Medicare can save money by paying CEOs $multi-million salaries. LOL Private Insurance is giving the GOP so much money to lie for them.

total apple and orange comparison given that Medicare is welfare paid for by taxes and trust fund and private is totally different?

if true I will pay you $10,000. Bet????

obviously big companies pay huge salaries to save money not to lose money. Do you understand these basics??

Sorry, just adding to the discussion. I do not see how vouchers will lower the price of healthcare. If we learned anything from "free" education vouchers will increase the cost of healthcare. competition I agree with but we have competition today. I have several insurance providers seeking my business. In my area one healthcare company owns the hospitals and are associated with the majority of doctors. How does one compete with that situation?

What could lower costs are robots. they have shown that robots can diagnosis patients as well as doctors. But it won't work if there isn't some sort of cost containment.

You made my point. The only reason Medicare is cheaper is because some of the cost is paid for by taxes , trust fund and other healthcare provides. It is not welfare it is a program started by the government to help senior citizen. Medicaid on the other hand is welfare and that is seldom talked about cutting.

Medical costs will never go down unless there is tort reform. Stop the lawsuits then costs will go down.
