The Bible states that at a cataclysmic time (perhaps the end of days), a dreaded manslayer will rise to power and give authority to the thrones of the Antichrist and Satan by corrupting men's faith in civics stability.
The modern age is marked by technology wizardry (i.e., eTrade) and mercantilism-based politics (i.e., European Union). Hollywood (USA) makes films such as "The Wolf of Wall Street" [2013] to reflect a new age curiosity about profiteerism-based intelligence.
The new age terrorist is the Internet hacker, so perhaps the Biblical manslayer is someone who undermines securities regarding networking efficiency. Perhaps such a manslayer is a psychopath who meets women on Internet chat rooms and then kills them (we've heard of such news stories).
The modern criminal is much more sophisticated and much more focused, with tools and gadgets at his disposal.
American horror films depict super-ghouls such as Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees who wield killing weapons of steel (knife-blades, machetes, chainsaws, etc.). These horror film characters present a new kind of serial killer and sinner --- subverters of pedestrian balance and hobblers of traffic who prey on our sensibilities about fortune and mobility.
Could the Antichrist be like an antisocialism-jawed comic book character such as Nuclear Man (DC Comics) or Brainiac (DC Comics)?
