I am asking for a number. What is your guess of the percentage of heavy cocaine users who did pot beforehand? I said 50%. If you don't want to respond with a number, don't bother. </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandLink js-expandLink"><a role="button" tabindex="0">Click to expand...</a></div> </div> </blockquote>smoking crack was stupid....and a number is just that....a number.....when i first tried Coke.....it wasnt because i had smoked pot.....pot had nothing to do with it....it was because i had done "whites" and i liked the pick up it gave,so i thought Coke would be even better,so i was very open to it.....but...i saw the writing on the wall and stopped pretty quick .....im sure there MANY MANY pot smokers who tried Coke,not because they were smoking pot....but because the allure of being UP.....many also saw the downside to it and quit real quick.....so just because you were smoking pot first....that does not mean it was your gateway drug.....if pot was the first drug you ever did then maybe you can say that.....but many people were smoking cigs, drinking and doing other things before they tried pot or coke.........</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">As a side note, most of you who thought you were smoking weed from central or south America were not. Why? Because it's far easier to smuggle something OUT of mehico than to smuggle something in...especially from their south. Therefore most of the south/central American dope came to the US by ships and ended up on either coast. It rarely got inland from there....you can cry AIRPLANES but know this....air-traffic between the US and mehico is far less studied (simply from the volume of flights) than flights incoming from either ocean. Overflights from south/central America over mehico are ALL considered suspicious. Cocaine trafficking is a different story simply because of the weight differential between a load of cocaine kilos (2.2 lbs) and bulk of a large reefer cargo.</div>

Don't take my word for it. Ask any highway cop. They look for pot DUI drivers in the far right lane moving below the posted limit.</div>
