Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem
Nothing could be more absurd than applying that quote to the Liberal Insurrection taking place.
What sort of imbecile would try to justify 17 deaths for this situation, around the theme of 'kill white folks'?
"The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure." -- TJ
The Constitution says protests must be peaceful.
It is the only document the American people have agreed to be governed by.
You, and every apologist for looters, rioters, assaulters, are not Americans.
Actually it does not say that. It says that the right of peaceful assembly shall not be abridged. It doesn't say that lawlessness by some folks negate the peacefulness of protestors who do no damage.
It also does not make any qualification on the freedom of the press, because all people who have brains know that the press are not considered belligerents. But still the Klonservatives again and again excuse the repression of the press by the police, because they love the police more than freedom.
Watch this:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
And, in you, we find another apologist for thugs, thieves, murderers, Democrats.
Every one of the Democrat inspired, encouraged, shielded riots should have been met with overwhelming force, ending the Democrat Insurrection by any and every means available.
It doesn't say what behaviors are forbidden however. It does not say that less than peaceful forms of protest are a matter for the general (federal) government to be concerned with, unless it goes so far as to be considered insurrection--an act of war against the general or state governments.
