Remember when we were proud of our agriculture and how we were considered the bread basket of the world....

Now according to the Liberals farmers are the scum of the earth and should be destroyed.

We are farmers and we can feel the hate now. It is right up front - they resent our independence. Farmers lived the same way during depression as they did after depression. That's the history of the farmer. Farmers in the south are actively teaching the next generation - young people how to grow, can and store up food. Anyone can can from the local farmers market and store up for 8 - 10 yrs at a time. Even city folks. If you have food stored for next 10 yrs. you have responsibility to teach those around you to do it. It should be a community awareness campaign of top priority in my view.

Store bought canned goods have expiration date of a year out now. ( I believe ) That will not do. You should be growing, canning, storing years out and store off your property not on. Underground storage is best as it is cool & same temp. Instead of watching tv on the weekend - start canning.
