The ACA is not something you "participate" in. It is a set of rules and laws regarding the delivery of health care. These rules DO apply to your elected representatives.

They don't go to the VA or use Medicare, no. They do have to purchase insurance just like the rest of us.

A: Members of Congress are covered by private insurance under the same system that covers all federal workers.
