Tomorrow Republicans will pretend to laugh and say it's not as bad as liberals thought!

I am betting that Flynn will be the target here. After all that has come to light he is the only one thus far that actually looks like there is hard evidence that he broke the law. That does nothing for the collusion that the democrats are looking for.
I'd think Manafort and Flynn are the most nervous right now. It'll also be interesting to see if they flipped.

It's nice that stuff is starting to move, but this is a long way from over.
.

Watch for it. Tomorrow no matter who is indicted and no matter for what reason Republicans will construct that tried and true strawman where they claim that liberals thought it would be much worse.

So an actual indictment isn't bad because liberals thought...blah blah you get the point.

While I have your attention isn't it funny how they seem to care more about how the indictment was leaked MORE than they care about someone within the Trump camp being indicted? And the total reason for the investigation is because Trump helped Russia fuck our democracy in the ass.

Oh but they want to tell you that what's really important is anything but Russia and Trump.

It's all fake news until someone gets indicted. Right?
You watch it, no matter what the left wing liberals on the board will compare the indictments to Watergate, you watch. The liberals are already foaming at the mouth waiting in grand expectation. Sad little people who won't accept the will of the people.

My opinion of what happens is exactly what you say because that is what is going to happen. The indictments are floated out there to try and pressure someone into admitting something about someone. They will be all indictments directed at low level flunkies in an attempt to get at Trump. Trump hasn't been even been questioned yet, so don't get your hopes up.

Low level like Trump's campaign chairman?

Well, if the arrest isn’t on charges of conspiracy then it was a witch hunt. That you are so emotionally invested is what is intriguing. I mean, your likely only to get an arrest on Manifort who since this all started was everyone’s safe pick for a perpwalk. So really, whatyour doing here is prepping your self for a big disappointment.

So when it becomes obvious that Trump won't be impeached tomorrow, are you guys going to stop this Russian collusion nonsense? Or will we have some new conspiracy theory?

Nice, you already got it down. Anything short of impeachment is a win for Republicans. Tell that to those facing charges and see how they feel about it.

Don't really care about those facing charges.

And yes anything short of impeachment is a win for Republicans. As of now there is no reason to believe this is at all related to Trump, which means the investigation isn't giving you what you were hoping for.

If you start an investigation with the hopes of getting the goods to impeach the president, and you don't get those goods, how the heck have you won anything?

Strawman and on fire

So you guys have been lying all these months about expecting Mueller's investigation to lead to impeachment?

And what makes you certain that these 2 indictments represent the end of the investigations?

It was Manafort and the story is backwards. Here is what we are not being told about Manafort and the Russia Investigation.

lol, Haley Barbour was on Morning Joe this morning and practically the first words out of his mouth on the subject were 'Hillary Clinton'.

If Manafort is who gets indicted, then we are investigating The Podesta Brothers and Clinton, so yah, since Manfort was booted after just two short months with The Trump Campaign, it isn't as bad as The LEFT is going to try to make it out to be.

ITS FAR FAR WORSE......FOR THEM....that is!

OK, we know about Manafort.

Here is the scum on Gates, who is heavily tied to the WH and money.

Gates is a colleague of Manafort's who joined the Trump team in spring 2016, according to Politico. In an old news release, Gates' bio braggedthat he had "over 15 years of international political, finance and business development experience working for multinational firms" and had "worked on several U.S. presidential campaigns" as well as "many international political campaigns in Europe and Africa." As part of the Trump campaign, he traveled with the real estate tycoon and helped manage day-to-day operations.

He then jumped from job to job in Trump's orbit.

When Trump fired Manafort last August, Gates shifted to become the campaign's liasion with the Republican National Committee. After Trump's victory, Gates helped the president-elect get set up for inauguration. This past January, Gates headed to America First Policies, a nonprofit started by Trump advisers to support the White House's agenda. He stepped down from that job in March after the Associated Press reported Manafort had collaborated with Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska to improve Russian President Vladimir Putin's status in the U.S. and Europe—even though Gates said he wasn't aware of what Manafort was doing for Deripaska.

Fast forward to this summer, when The Daily Beast reported Gates was frequently stopping by the White House as part of a new gig working for Trump fundraiser Tom Barrack.
