Treasury Secretary Mnuchin refuses to release Trump's tax returns

The IRS has determined the demands for Trump's returns are political theater and not legit.
Years of court battles to follow. :D

Treasury Department rejects Democrats' request for Trump tax returns
Trump has to shroud himself in secrecy or go to prison.
Or so you need to believe.

Petulant Democrat curiosity is not a valid reason to pierce any Americans' privacy but you can hang on the the very slim hope the unhinged crybabies will win in court ... someday.
Suspicion of criminal activity and treason sure are
Point being there is no evidence of criminality and no charges. Suspicion and allegations are not proof of guilt. IRS justly determined it's just another partisan Democrat Socialist witch-hunt but the attorneys will benefit until the court sorts it out ... in about 5 or 6 years.
As long as Trump faces justice, fine. If Americans decide we don’t care in the meantime, then we deserve whatever consequences come our way 5, 10, 15 years from now or more from Trump’s criminal and idiotic policies.

What secret in his tax returns would result in jail time?
You think it’s only his tax returns that he’s been desperately hiding from the public? :cuckoo:

That's what you're whining about this instant......so is there one in his tax returns?
Considering Trump’s record on fraud and shady business deals, almost certainly.
Elaborate...

For starters, you would need them to show gains from alleged criminal actovoty,in some cases.

Secondly, they can help untangle webs of money laundering.

Third, they could reveal illegal emoluments.

Fourth, they could reveal loan and insirance fraud.

Fifth, they could help reveal tax fraud.

Got any other softballs?

What if he claimed that he took a 10 million deduction for work performed & that contractor see it & says bullshit?

Or he claims income from one investment at 1 million & he had borrowed money at a bank & listed that income as 50 million.

What if he claimed that he took a 10 million deduction for work performed & that contractor see it & says bullshit?

Why would a contractor see Trump's private tax documents?
Also, when the IRS sees a deduction, they can look for the corresponding income number for the contractor.

Or he claims income from one investment at 1 million & he had borrowed money at a bank & listed that income as 50 million.

You have $50 million in income, show me copies of $50 million in checks.
Show me bank statements with deposits of $50 million.

Well, ya see , that's the interesting thing about deutsche bank...it appears they did not do their due diligence. And they gave a defaulted borrower a loan to pay themselves off. Very suspicious. That's why they are being subpoenaed. I for one would love to know all about it.

If there was something Trumps taxes that was illegal don't you think the IRS would go after it? Unless we now have a kinder gentler IRS they tend to go after people who cheat on their taxes like a pit bull going after raw meat.

No, not necessarily. They are neither equipped nor purposed to dig deep into money laundering scandals, emoluments scandals, and loan fraud.

On which form would he itemize his "criminal activities gains"?
Secondly, they can help untangle webs of money laundering.

Is the "money laundering" form the same as the "criminal activities gains" form?
Third, they could reveal illegal emoluments.

And which form is that listed on?
Fourth, they could reveal loan and insirance fraud.

I have loans, I don't remember huge amounts of info about them getting listed on my returns.
Fifth, they could help reveal tax fraud.

Tax fraud that the IRS missed that morons like Schiff and Nadler will find? LOL!

Besides your skull? Not at the moment.

Yeah, banks never help borrowers refinance their loans. DURR.

All of them. What a stupid question.

I have loans, I don't remember huge amounts of info about them getting listed on my returns.
Because you have tiny little consumer loans and a mortgage. And yes, your claimed income is atated on your tax return. No, the irs dos not check with your lenders to compare your income and assets to what you stated on your applications. You2re saying very stupid things...i suspect on purpose, because you love my attention.

Yeah, banks never help borrowers refinance their loans.
No, they generally do not loan to defaulted borrowers, with an extra $50 million cash out. Damn son, you really know fuck all about any of this, don't ya?

Neither is Congress and unless someone has presented real evidence to start an investigation into any of those there is no reason for his or any other persons taxes to made public. You don't start an investigation in hopes of finding a crime.
