Truckers are refusing to Deliver to NYC after Engoron's Ruling

For Clarity....

Most of your European goods and raw materials come to your East Coast. Anything East of the Middle East goes to the Left Coast....

Meaning things like British & German Steel, Italian leather, French wines, and Belgium Chocolate ain't moving. Also South African oranges. (Unless they go to Florida, SC, DE or VA docks) Maryland, NJ, or Maine? Probably not.

You obviously don't understand the disconnect between Union Officials and rank and file membership. Officially they are not having a boycott. But the number of trucks and loads are DEFINITELY going to experience some issues. There are blogs and semi-private chat boards where there DEFINITELY is something going on. And it ain't work.
JohnDB if the MAGATs don't do it someone else will
CLOSED SHOPS....meaning that if you ain't union member paying dues you ain't gonna get a load or drop it off.

Members are not the Same as officials in a union. That's why nothing official is going to be said and if anything is said it will be the opposite of what is happening.

Scooby-Doo is the code. (Sounds dumb...I get it) but it is basically a game of hide and seek.

And a LOT of times you have high dollar loads. Can be anything that moves quick on the black market. Usually not food items but things like high performance engine parts or cases of Swiss watches or whatever....they usually get Teamsters drivers. Just saying. Things like groceries? The drivers will get diesel influenza....(call in sick)
It can get ugly....and Union officials will holler, scream, yell, plead, and threaten...and the more they do...the more resistance they will meet. Just how it works. Unless you have been inside as a member of a functioning Union and not a member of a weak group calling themselves a union...you won't get it.

Not to mention all the chatter on Channel 19 . And not just Teamsters, but Owner Operators get wind of this as well.

It’s a nothingburger

They have a job to do. If they can't do it because they'd rather shit their pants over a court ruling, then whoever's doing business with is going to - wait for it - find another trucker to do business with (or another driver to hire and train).
Dude, an independent trucker can choose which routes he wants to take.....

If they don't want to do the work, others will. That's how the free market works, kiddos.

LOL...............tell us about the trucker job shortage, moron.
