Trump Goes Silent On Voting Machines

Indeed just Trump's Twitter feed alone, still preserved would be enough to clean Trump's clock in a Dominion defamation suite, but wisely first they will make Rudy and the Kraken pay up first and then consider their options with the real deluded on.

No, Trump is legally allowed to say what he believes, as long as he is not deliberately lying in order to cause malicious harm.
And Dominion has no defense at all.
They are never going to allow their software to be put into evidence because that would allow public inspections, and there are bound to be SOME bugs in any software.
Not to mentions that while running, the current software could have been over ridden by transient software. So Dominion has no case at all.

The problem with suing Trump is twofold.

One proving that he was wrong when he called out Dominion.

Two, proving any financial damages caused by allegedly false statements.

Dominion's record of crookedness is actually a good selling point for the company as they seek contracts from liberal elections desiring to have Fake Elections.

It will be easy to prove he was wrong, not one statement he made about the company is true or has evidence to back it up. The Kraken or Guilianis fantastic claims will not hold up in court and indeed are defamatory.

And the company will be able to prove significant damage as so many millions of deluded half wits believe Trump's claims true which will be easy to prove makes it far more difficult for them to get contracts.

You forget that if Dominion sues, then the burden of proof is on Dominion, and they won't be able to prove a thing. Their software not only is bound to have bugs, but the fact secret software could have been down loaded at run time, makes their product indefensible.

That is why I expect no coverage by the MSM when, and if, the lawsuits are pursued. Lindell has says he welcomes the lawsuit.

As Trump allies get sued by Dominion and Smartmatic the x-president has been told to keep his mouth shut.
Donald Trump could still get sued for his role in spreading fake news.

"On Wednesday, The Daily Beast reported that Trump has quietly stopped mentioning a pair of election systems vendors that he and his allies have long implicated in conspiracy theories about the outcome of the 2020 presidential race."

"Both Dominion and Smartmatic are currently involved in large defamation lawsuits against right-wing associates and supporters of Trump who tried to implicate them in fictional election fraud schemes. Dominion has filed suit against Rudy Giuliani, and plans to file another suit against right-wing MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell. Smartmatic, meanwhile, has a $2.7 billion suit pending against Fox News."

The Dominion software was already proven to be exploited.
They won’t win a dime.

I hope Judge Judy presides.

If they are going to make more quality TEE VEE, let's get some good and entertaining actors in there.

. . . it's too bad Johnnie Cochran has passed away. If the twitter posts don't fit. . . you must acquit!

Private Citizen Trump is going to have to pay from multiple lawsuits.

He led and participated in the attacks on these companies.
He should pay.
A line of your failed predictions would stretch from here to the moon.
Too bad you are responsible for none of your idiotic comments.
Ask President Biden about my predictions

Trump: I have been cheated

My lawyers tell me I am not allowed to say by whom
That in itself is pretty sad. You support intimidation and abuse of power. That is absolutely no surprise. That is why we have an illegitimate administration because of enablers and cowards like you.

Poor, poor Trump

He claims he has been cheated. But those who he accused threaten to sue him if he can’t back it up

It works the other way around.
It is the one doing the suing that has to prove Trump knew he was lying.
I don't think there was massive election fraud, but Trump is legally free to think there was, and to say so as much as he wants.
You can't sue him over that.
Trump, or anyone else is free to say that there was fraud.

It is when you say ......Dominion manipulated the results, changed votes to Biden, deleted Trump votes...that you are liable
It destroys a companies reputation when they rely on integrity. You had better have proof

If Trump makes specific claims about Dominion or Smartmatic, he had better be able to back them up.
“some bugs” is not good enough.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda is not good enough. He claimed that it DID

All Dominion has to prove is the statements were false (easy to prove) the speaker should have known or did know they were false (easy to prove, indeed Trump's own head of cybersecurity announced such days after the election) and there was damage incurred. Easy to prove when the President of the US defames your company.

If some drunk at a bar claims Dominion was switching votes, nobody really cares. But when the President claims it happened, it has tremendous impact on the company.
It is not just what Trump knew but what he should have known before he made charges.

I did not say that. Fulton county was enough to steal the election. We saw actual videos of fraud taking place.
So the voting machines only cheated in some places and not others?

Yes, since the voting machines were attached to a network, they can easily be manipulated any way the builders intended.
They should never had have wide area network capability built in.
No one should have used machines with wide area network capability.
This is a lie.

There were no network connections of any kind.

No, the machines are the evidence. No one had to look they are there but being withheld from discovery
As someone already pointed out, they were looked at and you came up with an excuse as to why that wasn't sufficient.

You'll invent any excuse if something doesn't fit your preconceived conclusions.
all they did was investigate themselves and concluded they did nothing wrong,, they were never looked at by an outside unbiased source for the specific claims presented,,

but you knew that and decided to lie about it,,
This is a lie.

I don't think dominion or smartmatic would risk suing Trump. It might give him the opportunity to present evidence of fraud that has been suppressed and kept from being evaluated by courts. It may be a can of worms.

You mean Trump testify under oath?

We all know that is not going to happen

The evidence has been presented and tossed out as not credible or not factual. It hasn't stopped Dominion from suing a number of other idiots.

little if any evidence has been presented,,,

why do you keep lying??

I can't remember what it is, but there's some legal shield that allows Trump to say all sorts of bullshit as President.

But he can't as a private citizen.
As a general rule, both the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia enjoy sovereign immunity, which shields the government entities and their agencies from defamation lawsuits as well as most other types of litigation.
