Behind the scenes? That truck was covered by every network, and was seen across the country. It was more of a scheduled photo-op than anything behind the scenes.The price of the truck and supplies was much less than the price of all the free coverage he got on TV.

Trying to determine someone's generosity by they're Tax form is ridiculous. It has been a long tradition in my family to not take all our donations as a write off. It is supposed to be charity afterall.

I seriously doubt Trump tried writing off that $1000 he gave to the homeless guy. It's funny to think he would.
