Based on article he has had past history of not getting paid by Sanders supporters and so it was about money not so much about ideology. If you believe him. I'd have had pre-printed note ready for customer to sign explaining payment policy and get it signed before starting any job. Seems like he could have padded the charged an extra $10 or $20 based on the bumper sticker but instead he stiffed himself and turned it into a lose-lose proposition.
