Every state has their own rules and laws. Some go further in their prescriptions than others. Colorado was compelled to rule as they did because of the Colorado state constitution. Michigan, otoh, did not have similar language or similar riles and laws. Therefore, they couldn't take Trump off the ballot under their state constitution.

So it's not "bad look". And that just implies that it's political and not on the level. I do not agree.

Trump would be disqualified by the states. States can't just remove a candidate because they want to.

Read the text of the 14th amendment. It’s not talking about insurrection against the government, it’s insurrection against the constitution, meaning, ignoring the laws and articles of the cotus that they swore an oath to defend.

Two reasons: 1) bidens doj has J6 rioters who have been held for a couple years now, wing denied their constitutional right to due process and a speedy trial.
2). By failing to protect the border, and allowing millions of illegal people into the country, Biden has fail to uphold his constitutional duty to protect the borders of this sovereign nation.

Also, there are accusations that Biden has taken money from foreign governments, which could amount to taking bribes.

I’m sure there are other things they could dig up, but those alone could be deemed as an insurrection against the constitution, because he has failed to uphold those things.

Again, some good lawyers could legalese all that into charges of insurrection, thereby giving state credible reasons to keep Biden off the ballot.
