Trump says foreign college graduates should automatically get green cards

They also haven’t yet realized that college-educated brown people don’t tend to vote Republican.

I’m sure their overlords at Breitbart and Gateway Pundit will re-direct them soon.
Clearly it’s the blob’s effort to repair his reputation with the political center. He still hasn’t figured out how far to the right his base is on some matters. This is one of them. College...strike one; Immigrants (illegal or legal; doesn’t matter to them)....strike two; residency....strike three.

Look for some bizarre statement to veer hard right in the near future; something like public hangings of illegal immigrants, reviving getting rid of birthright citizenship, etc... All stuff that would make his supporters on this board happy.

STFU already. I am done with you.

Dude, your entire argument was a muddled mess. You assumed that the existence of international students in large numbers would cause tuition rates to go up. They are already here by the hundreds of thousands. And there's no such causation.

You assumed that if tuition rates go up after Trump's policy is enacted, that it is because of the international students.

But tuition has been slowly going up for 50 years. And if Trump's policy is not enacted, will almost certainly continue to rise. So your 'effect' exists if your 'cause' is present, or if it isn't.

That's not causation.

:talk2hand: last time - If Trump is elected and we find out tuition is on the rise from this idea, I am coming back to curb stomp you.

This is such a schizo thread, but honestly it lost me early on with the tuition. If you are an American scholarship kid going to an Ivy, Little Ivy or Near Ivy ..... the Asians are helping pick up the difference.

Skyler, do you deny that tuition collected from for students supplements tuition for US kids?

:talk2hand: You are going on ignore. You earned it :fu:

Nobody has said blacks were blessed in slavery. Americans did not bring ANY slaves to America but they were delivered here by British, Portuguese, Dutch and a few others. The vast majority of the slaves went to the Caribbean and South America. Slavery was still prevalent in cultures all over the world at that time.

Being made slaves was the worst thing to happen to black people of that distant time and culture. But those descended from those slaves who are living now are indeed blessed to be living in the most non racist, free, prosperous nation in the world with far more options, choices, opportunities and likelihood of quality of life than they would have had those ancestors been left in Africa. And again we are now among the least racist nations in the world. There is no justification of any kind for slavery in the past. But to deny that descendants of those slaves benefit by being American is just dumb.

People of whatever skin color who do not feel blessed to be Americans in the here and now should really move somewhere else more to their liking.

And new immigrants who go through the proper legal processes to come, live, work here and who contribute to society instead of draining resources from it are still welcome here and can enjoy all the blessings involved with being American. I think President Trump sees those who come here to get a college degree are most likely to be among those.
Just one question...you won’t answer because, well, you know; you’re a coward.

Would you rather be white or black in this nation?

Which students and which 'US Kids'? Are you asking about international students, or domestic ones? Are the US kids other college students, or are we talkign K-12?

not at all. I said let's see what happens and fuckwad won't STFU. Earned it
What’s going to happen is tuition will continue to rise, as it has been, and you won’t be able to show that your claim caused it. Like he said.

You threw a hissy fit instead of addressing that simple point.

what part do YOU not understand?

If Trump is elected and we find out tuition is on the rise from this idea,

Jim Bowie, like thousands of other Americans over the decades, smuggled thousands of slaves across the border. Northern businessmen financed slave shipping and commerce.

How blacks live in America today is no excuse for the slavery of the past. None. Whatsoever.

Trump sees nothing except what he can grift from true believers.

The same way we always value "cost." What's the overall increase or decrease in price. What's the increae or decrease in production cost.
That’s not cause-and-effect. That’s just a difference in cost in an area that has had growing costs for a long time.
