Today the R's have accepted many of the provisions in the ACA only because they are popular with the vast majority of our citizens - however the Republican Party still wants to protect the medical and pharmaceutical industries profits, at the expense of the people.

I think the deterrent is more of a factor. A few months ago, people would cross into Mexico, get rides to the US border, flood our detainment centers so they could not function properly, and then cry they were being mistreated.

Now that Mexico is doing their part to stop them from entering their country, and if the US has a near impassible border structure, and you are not applicable for asylum even if you do get here. What's the point of even trying? Your chances of success are 5% at best. A year ago, your chances at getting into this country was over 80%

So Trump is doing an incredible job for our country. He's solving a problem that's decades old.
