Gabbard is an attractive East Indian broad who was in Congress for a while and ran for the Presidential nomination a few years back.

Quite leftist, but her failure to drink the Biden koolaid made her anathema from his Leftard Cult.

She is pretty darn leftist. But, frankly, she has an ability and willingness to get past the DNC talking points and to instead confront some reality. The points she just made establish that. I wouldn’t say she’s a conservative, of course. I’d prefer to think of her as more genuinely centrist but in most respects that’s not true. She is still a liberal in the end. But God bless her for speaking out and speaking up.

She will very probably grow more and more close to adopting the philosophy of a MAGA conservative now over time as she certainly won't like or join the Old Guard McTurtle GOP.

She could end up Trump's or DeSantis' VP running mate; then you are REALLY in trouble for she has the political sagacity that Trump lacks, plus now a hot burning hatred for the DNC bent on vengeance. Gabby is an old style Democrat. That is one who loves America and Americans and at least tries to be a servant of the people. She has some strongly leftist views such as promoting universal healthcare, stimulus spending, free college tuition, ending cash bail etc. but joins with old style Democrats on believing some restrictions on abortion are the moral choice and the laws should be enforced. A really likable person and somebody I would very much enjoy interviewing or just sitting down to have dinner and conversation with. Her views are too leftist for me to want her to be in leadership, but really completely different from the politically punitive, 'woke', politically correct, divisive, cancel culture dictators that the modern Democrat party has become.

And of course because she rejects what the modern Democrat party has become, she is now anathema, scum, deplorable, hateful to them and boy do they let us know it.
