U.S. Senate Election Results Thread

Is Cruz in?

Anybody????????

that's an important one!

Heitkamp loses. Republicans now have a net gain of three seats in the Senate
:dance::dance::dance:
It'll be four when Arizona elects a real Republican to replace the dead John McCain.

McCain’s seat isn’t up this cycle

??? Your seat goes up when you die.

Arizona will just go forward with one Senator?

Kyl was appointed to the seat by the governor months ago. Flakes seat is the one up for grabs

MSNBC now projecting Ted Cruz has beat Beto. So sad...
Hey, and your world just ended. Our government is deadlocked now, but Republicans have more leeway in the Senate where they will still get to appoint judges, and more importantly, Supreme Court justices. Advantage Republicans.

You gained very little by winning the house. Your "blue wave" was nothing more than a blue ripple.

You guys aren't really good with this hype thing, are you?

Looks like Republicans will pick up a seat

Given the number of seats Dems are defending, they should have picked up four or five

This is no surprise. The Republicans have 21 seats to defend vs 11 for Democrats in 2020 and again in 2022. It will be a short reign for them.
