The facts are always promoted by those in control to destroy. They made a document with amendments. Back when we were low taxed in the 1950's we had ghettos. It is the 2020's with every program started by Progs they could and spending tens of trillions of dollars and tens of trillions more on social issues. We still have ghettos and many people hooked on a government lifeline in near all areas. Study up on current economic conditions. This is far more important than the past. People can become as ugly as it gets during bade economic times and be led by despots which is something to study from the past.
Southern Democratic party was a separate party from the Democrats. They walked out of the Democratic con-vention and formed their own party and nominated their own candidate. Learn American History.

No longer. They walked away from the Democrat Party at the 1860 con-vention. Then, of course, a few months later they walked away from the United States. Learn American History. They were democrats dumbass showing your ignorance of American history.
Why is it irrelevant?Irrelevant.
While Lincoln was a republican, he was a left wing, progressive, liberal.
But the republicans totally switched into being a conservative right wing party around 1890 or so.
The south remained democrat only to thumb their nose at Lincoln, even though they switched to republican primarily, about 20 years ago.
Political parties have always been totally irrelevant and just a means of confusing people.
We should have gotten rid of them centuries ago.
You are very ignorantNo longer. They walked away from the Democrat Party at the 1860 con-vention. Then, of course, a few months later they walked away from the United States.
I am correct and you know it. Learn American History....stop running away from the truth. You are very ignorant
No you're showing your ignorance those democrats supported Jim crowI am correct and you know it. Learn American History....stop running away from the truth.
Why is it irrelevant?
The democrat party has nothing to do with democracy so you don’t have to fear any correlation there.
Why are you clowns so afraid of the word democracy? It's really weird. I honestly don't get it. Is it because it triggers you all into thinking of the Democratic party? Please, please tell me its that simple.![]()
It's relevant because they were democrats. What the parties were when Lincoln was running is totally irrelevant because they often totally switch.
Again, Lincoln was far lefts wing, progressive, liberal.
By 1890, the republican party was no longer the party of Lincoln and was conservative, right wing, and the party of fat cats of industry.
The fact some southern state wealthy fat cats refused to support the "party of Lincoln" until only about 20 years ago, is irrelevant because they finally did switch. There are no more Southern Democrats. The wealthy elite now in the South are republicans.
Jim Crow laws? That was in the future AFTER the Civil War. Are you running away from you pre-Civil War argument now? Learn American History. No you're showing your ignorance those democrats supported Jim crow
