If you want less spending, which most of us, then do it during the budget process not in during the bill paying process.

The bottom line is, we will be coughing up more in taxes to help pay THE INTEREST ON THE DEBT. Forget about reducing it. And it won't be just "the rich". The formerly untaxed 47 Percent will be getting the snip snip from their paychecks as well. GASP!! And to make sure the new taxpayers aren't cheating there will be 80,000 new armed agents ready for house calls.
