We are in the midst of a cold civil war

We just won the cold war with the left, Kavanaugh gives us control of the SC. Dem's can pass all the crazy ass socialist crap they want now we'll slap it down in the SCOTUS. That's why Dem's are so unhinged over Kavanaugh.

This is how stupid liberals are, they think they can win politically even though they lost the court for at least 30 years.

Wake up to the Supreme Court's delegitimization of itself
The Court has turned into a partisan institution where the justices are treated as some kind of god-like figures. While we have made some meager gains (striking down parts of DOMA, kind of saving Obamacare, etc.), the court has proven itself to be on the side of the monied and tyrants.

The writing was on the wall with Bush v. Gore. Bush allowed 9/11 to happen by ignoring the "imminent threat" warnings, thereby replacing criticism of government with hollow patriotism.

Conservatives are worse than liars and snakes. They are cruel, backward authoritarians who seek to strip women of their agency for reproductive rights. They hide behind a fig leaf of textualism, where they can use the constitution like prophesies from Nostradamus -- where they make the constitution fit whatever whim they have pulled from their collective ass.

So fuck the GOP. Fuck conservatives. Fuck everything about them and their judges. The court helped make some progressive gains, but it hasn't been on our side for more than two decades.

Unless we change the makeup of the court, it is a barrier to progressive ideals. Therefore, we either change the institution when we have power, or we wake up and treat the court as it has cast itself and how the GOP has shaped it -- as a corrupt cancer on the body politic.

And we will have political power again. We are the majority.
We have the fire of resistance burning in our bellies. The vote in November is our opportunity to start turning the worm.

Lets review, Dem's lost the House so they tried to delegitimize the Rep controlled House with Obama's pen and phone. They lost to Trump and immediately tried to delegitimize the election and attempt to delegitimize his presidency to this day. Then they tried to delegitimize Kavanaugh and failing that now they are trying to delegitimize the SCOTUS. Dem's refuse to accept the will of the people no matter how many times they lose.

Obama won both times by over 50% of the vote.

The will of the people are firmly with the Democrats.

The will of the women are with the Democrats by 30 points.

Trumps election never was legitimate. It doesn't have to be delegitimized.

Kavanaugh was never legitimate when he was appointed to the DC circuit.

There will be payment for both starting with the first down payment next month.

the side for equal civil rights for all

which would require a society that treats everyone the same, which the Democrats have never done, since the Democrats have always been obsessed with some form of fascist state sponsored DNA discrimination

slavery
segregation
"affirmative" action

and you actually think the republicans are any different? comedy gold.:abgg2q.jpg:

Bingo!
Dems are already becoming use to being slap-happy.
A few months into the first civil war, the South thought they had it all but won.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
The next big battle is the midterms. Let's see who wins that one.

The only thing I'm predicting is the Repubs keep the Senate. Party demographics favor the Dems in the House, but who knows?

I think that's fair. Its likely the republicans will keep the senate. Its also likely the democrats will win the House.

But until the election is held, who knows.

And it is a big 'who knows' since only 40% of the electorate historically votes in the mid-terms.

Were you less bigoted you would remember Colin Powell and Condeleeza Rice both led polls among Republicans for the Party's nomination for president before they withdrew their names and Marco Rubio led the polls until he performed poorly in the primary debates. Clearly, Republicans are more interested in a candidate's abilities and proposals than in his or her gender, race, religion, and if Democrats were more interested in the abilities and proposals of their candidates neither Hillary nor Obama would ever have gotten the nomination.

The same party that embraced the birther conspiracy and elected King Birther to office after his rants about Mexican Rapists.......is blind to race, gender and social proclivities?

Laughing.....c'mon. Really?
Long before Obama or Hillary got the nomination, Republicans wanted to nominate Condaleez Rice and Colin Powell, but they didn't want to run, and if it hadn't been for Reagan and the two Bushes advancing a black man and a black woman to Secretary of State, the Democrats would never have screwed up enough courage to nominate Obama or Clinton. The difference between the two parties on race and gender is that Republicans will support minority candidates on merit and Democrats only support them because of race and gender. In terms of proven merit neither Obama nor Clinton would ever have gotten the nomination.

Republicans didn't nominate Condeleeza Rice nor Colin Powell. Democrats did nominate Hillary and Obama.
Rice and Powell were leading in the polls and both said they didn't want to got through the rigors of a presidential campaign, but Republicans clearly preferred them to the other candidates who were all white. Republicans wanted Rice and Powell because of their accomplishments, but Obama and Hillary couldn't have gotten the Republicans nomination because they had no accomplishments.

Gingrich was leading in the polls as well. Republicans didn't nominate him either.

Obama was behind in the polls by huge margins at points in the nomination process. But the democrats actually nominated him. Hillary was actually nominated.

The Republicans nominated neither of the people you cited. Nor is leading in a poll or two an indication of Republican willingness to actually nominate someone.
lol To a rational mind it is.
