They are making money and are in the business to make money. What is their reason?
So???? I told you my belief is the windmills do not impact on me. It is as if you defended prostitution because they make money. They are making money and are in the business to make money.
Your link said largest.Largest share, doesn't mean the largest subsidy amount.
"Renewable subsidies jumped to $15.6 billion in fiscal year 2022 from $7.4 billion in fiscal year 2016, according to the Energy Information Administration's Federal Financial Interventions and Subsidies in Energy report".

Jan 30, 2024 — In 2022, fossil fuel subsidies in the United States totaled $757 billion, according to the International Monetary Fund.
When Democrats spin, a lot of truth is spun off like trash. They depend on posters to skip much of their claims.Your link said largest.
Your link said Solar and Wind revieves subsidies and Fossil Fuels do not!!!!
Your link proved you wrong! Now you get another link when you cant argue with your first link!
And you claim you know! You cant tell us a thing without searching for a link you agree with. That is the opposite of knowledge
Yes it did.Your link said largest.
No, it didn't.Your link said Solar and Wind revieves subsidies and Fossil Fuels do not!!!!
You're FOS.Your link proved you wrong! Now you get another link when you cant argue with your first link!
$757 billion? And you claim you know! You cant tell us a thing without searching for a link you agree with. That is the opposite of knowledge
First and foremost, Reuters is propaganda.Yes it did.
No, it didn't.
"Renewable subsidies jumped to $15.6 billion in fiscal year 2022 from $7.4 billion in fiscal year 2016".
" In 2022, fossil fuel subsidies in the United States totaled $757 billion".
Yes.First and foremost, Reuters is propaganda.
You have yet to tell us the name of the subsidy. Anybody can call tax deductions that all businesses get, subsidies. Your Reuter's article states exactly that. The Fossil Fuel industry is using the tax code to reduce the taxes it pays, and you call that a subsidy.
What is the name of the fossil energy subsidy you speak of, it must have a name? You are making claims that are unsupported by factsYes.
The same with renewable energy.
A subsidy. What is the name of the fossil energy subsidy you speak of, it must have a name? You are making claims that are unsupported by facts
Okay, we all see you disagree with my comment I am reposting. You must disagree because you have the facts. That is great, what is the name of the Fossil Fuel subsidies? Anybody can misuse words, substituting the word subsidy for tax code.
The government misuses words all the time, like calling Wind Turbines and Solar Panels, renewable.
What is the name of your subsidy you refer to.
Okay, nobody pays less tax than what they owe. Corporations dont pay less than what they owe.A subsidy.
Anytime someone gets a tax bill and pays less than what is owed is a subsidy.
Semantic bullshit. If the government gives you a subsidy via a tax break, they have given you a subsidy.Okay, nobody pays less tax than what they owe. Corporations dont pay less than what they owe.
Smokin, you have no idea what a subsidy is. It is not what you described and what you describe is not happening in the Fossil Fuel industry.
Yes, your comment is semantic bullshit. First and foremost, you should be using the term, tax code. Reducing the amount of money one pays in taxes is not a subsidy, that is simply keeping more of our private property.Semantic bullshit. If the government gives you a subsidy via a tax break, they have given you a subsidy.
What more can be said. Weather destroyed wind turbines in Iowa. The Democrats are intent on building wind turbines that are inefficient, short lived, weak and vulnerable.
Wind Turbines is kind of like driving an old car from 1918. The need constant maintenance, they get extremely bad gas mileage, and are terrible in bad weather.

Tornados and hurricanes can destroy pretty much everything you think they can't.??? Tornados can not destroy a nuclear power plant
Funny, your argument is, but but but what about hurricanes and politics?
Not a very good idea to use wind turbines and solar plants that are easily destroyed
Self-ownage! Nice!Remember folks, always read the oppositions links because the opposition lack comprehension skills.
Smokin DP, says fossil fuels are subsidiesed more than Solar, yet Smokin links to article saying Solar is subsidisied much more.
Most of those subsidies took the form of tax incentives in recent years, with solar applications making up the largest share of the subsidies due in part to rapid industry growth, the report showed
I remember extreme cold weather shutting down gas powered plants, that were returned to service in a matter of a days.Remember when weather shut down the gas powered plants in Texas?'
You wanna stop using them too?
YES, they do.Okay, nobody pays less tax than what they owe.
YES, they do.Corporations dont pay less than what they owe.
Smokin, you have no idea what a subsidy is.
It is not what you described and what you describe is not happening in the Fossil Fuel industry.
