No man is saved by the death of another man. None of the prophecies show this to be true but the Vatican made their Christians believe this lie.

The prophecies of God show that ALL God's people are saved from their flesh as they perish. The prophecies also show that God's servants ( the prophets and saints ) would be killed for their testimonies of the Word

Revelation 6
9: When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne;
10: they cried out with a loud voice, "O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before thou wilt judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell upon the earth?"
11: Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

Psalm 16
3: As for the saints in the land, they are the noble, in whom is all my delight.

Psalm 79.
1. O God, the heathen have come into thy inheritance; they have defiled they holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.
2. They have given the bodies of thy servants to the birds of the air for food, the flesh of thy saints to the beasts of the earth.
3. They have poured out their blood like water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to bury them.
4. We have become a taunt to our neighbors, mocked and derided by those round us.

Psalm 116
16. Precious in the sight of thy Lord is the death of his saints.

Do you see anyone by the name of Jesus Christ in any of these prophecies or any of the other prophecies in the old testament? That's because we saints are the invisible created Word of God who were created to speak for our Creator.

Ephesians 1
1: Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are also faithful in Christ Jesus:
2: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
4: even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.
5: He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,
9: For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ
10: as a plan for the fulness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
11: In him, according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will,
12: we who first hoped in Christ have been destined and appointed to live for the praise of his glory.

Roman Catholic Church is deception, not the church of God. Roots of the Romen Catholic Church and roots of the Pope

The church of God is invisible. The protestant churches are the "clay" part of the "feet of iron and clay" described in the prophecy of Daniel 2: 36-45. The Vatican and Roman Catholic Church is the iron part. The invisible church of God will destroy the beast with all it's false kingdoms (religions and governments of this world ) on the "Last Day" of this first age.

I don't know if y'all knew Rusty Goodman but he sang a song called Born To Die. It goes born to die that I might live. Jesus took our sins upon Himself on that Cross. During the three days after He died He went to the bowels of the Earth, took the keys from Satan, and set the Captives free. Three days after He died, He arose. Just A Note: Jesus was the greatest preacher that ever lived but He never preached a funeral. He raised the Dead. When the Dead sit up the funeral's over :wink_2:

The flesh called Jesus doesn't raise the dead. Our invisible Creator who planned and created all things is the one who made us believe that death is real during this age. The Truth is that ALL God's creation will be saved from this world and the flesh of ALL His created invisible "beings". The strong delusion ( Satan ) that this world deceived man with will be destroyed soon.

It is my belief that Jesus was God in the Flesh. Jesus said he that hath seen me hath seen the Father. He raised Lazarus from the dead and he had been dead four days.

The Jews thought they knew our Creator, also, by remembering the stories told by God's prophets.

Nehemiah 9
16: "But they and our fathers acted presumptuously and stiffened their neck and did not obey thy commandments;
17: they refused to obey, and were not mindful of the wonders which thou didst perform among them; but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their bondage in Egypt. But thou art a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and didst not forsake them.

If you do not obey the voice ( commandments ) of our Creator, you will remain in God's evil delusion that keeps His people from knowing Him and His eternal plan for His creation.

1 John 5
3: For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

Jesus brought many people back from the dead. And He empowers His servants to do the same when appropriate.

Matthew 7
21: "Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22: On that day many will say to me, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?'
23: And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.'

Even atheists have seen miraculous things that they can't explain. We saints see many miracles on the way to become saints but we don't need to perform miracles for our believers who listen to the spoken Word where eternal life exists.

John 6
63: It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

So what if someone dies and comes back to life again. I know many people who have died in the flesh and come back to tell about it.

I don't know if I mentioned it but I was born again when I was 6 or 7. Been quite awhile so it's hard for me to remember the exact time but we were living in Norfolk, Virginia. We were going to a Church of God. My Dad helped preach sometimes and back then we went to prayer meetings and Tent Revivals. I have always been Pentecostal. I'll die Pentecostal. My church now is Pine Valley Church of God in Wilmington. I've known the preacher since he was a little boy. He was a little brat back then. Spoiled rotten  Who would have thought he would grow up to serve the Lord. I still call him Little Larry sometimes  Anyway, just to let y'all know where I'm coming from and why I believe as I do. I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Jesus could have called Angels to save Him from the Cross but He chose to lay down His life that we could have eternal life. One of my most favorite movies is The Passion of the Christ. First time I ever went to a movie and coming out I felt like I had been to church. The theater was packed. What really happened to Jesus on the Cross? Jesus saved us from our sins and arose the third day. The pain He went through was so terrible but yet He loved us so much that He was willing to die for us. He was born that we might know Him and then Die. I love my Lord with all my soul!!

Just wanted to add, Mark's Mom (Beverly Lowry) went home to be with the Lord tonight. My prayers are with Mark and the entire family. Love Ya, Mark!!

What did really happen to Jesus on the cross?

He died. Then he rose of the third day, showed himself to and visited with some of his followers, and then He ascended unto the Father.

No amount of gnostic or Jehovah Witness heresy can change that.

Getting that through some of these heads, is like trying to convert an atheist....a waste of time.

After the resurrection, he went to India and hung out with the Buddhists and Hindus, until he was 103. Then he died as was entombed in Kashmir....
