Can you point to where the Govt is stopping someone from saying something in any one of these examples?

All three of these guys were able to acquire guns with very little problem.

It's DEFINITELY a gun problem.

Thats a real chicken shit position.. Lets see how much you value civil liberties.. Would you favor legislation REQUIRING the disclosure of being under psych care? Would you allow their parents to commit them without legal proceedings? Should a university be REQUIRED to notify law enforcement if they evidence of severe mental issues? Im sure the NRA would welcome your thoughts on how to add them to a no-gun list, if you do it without smashing the rest of the Bill of Rights.. Go start a thread using those pixs and tutoring us as to separating crazy morons from the public... NOT HERE.

I could care less what the fucking NRA wants. The NRA should be declared a criminal conspiracy and prosecuted under RICO.

Point was, with all three of these guys, the Media determined that they were all crazy before the bodies were cold.

Crazy Person + Gun = tragedy.

Crazy Person - Gun = Just a crazy person who needs help.

It's simple math.

If you guys can't keep guns out of the hands of crazy people, then no one should have them because no one really needs them.

Every other industrial democracy has figured this out.

I too. I cannot bring myself to say the word, to write the word, to think the word, to utter it in anyway. It comes too close to home. When someone else uses it, I find it horribly offensive and disgusting, far more than any of the other terms. I suppose it is just a matter of personal experience, of personal perspective. I would never use any of those other words. I've never heard them used much. I don't hang out with people who use such terms. People who use such language and think in such terms are completely anathema to me. Repulsive and disgusting individuals.

Every one of those cases that applied to a public school is case of ORGANIZED and codified idiotcy.. You want to contend that its just the whim of an isolated moron here and there. But in all these cases --- it got escalated to a legal issue because "the principal was only enforcing the well known rules" Rules that are developed and APPPROVED by elected school boards and which have legal standing. Any on site cop could help enforce not only the civil statutes, but the echool rules as well. EVERY public University has speech codes. SOME of them downright onerous.. And if you OPPOSE them, you willfind yourself in court AGAINST the state.

Guess you would have no problem with the new Cali law allowing preteens to declare which bathroom they want to use... Describe for me where the pressure came from from for such a ludicrous idea. And then try to tell me it wasnt an organized and directed project...

YOU are an idiot.

Are you willing to pay 70% income tax to instutionalize all of the mentally ill.

Before you get all cool on that idea...

NIMH · The Numbers Count: Mental Disorders in America

Mental disorders are common in the United States and internationally. An estimated 26.2 percent of Americans ages 18 and older — about one in four adults — suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year.1 When applied to the 2004 U.S. Census residential population estimate for ages 18 and older, this figure translates to 57.7 million people.2 Even though mental disorders are widespread in the population, the main burden of illness is concentrated in a much smaller proportion — about 6 percent, or 1 in 17 — who suffer from a serious mental illness.1 In addition, mental disorders are the leading cause of disability in the U.S. and Canada.3 Many people suffer from more than one mental disorder at a given time. Nearly half (45 percent) of those with any mental disorder meet criteria for 2 or more disorders, with severity strongly related to comorbidity.1

Um, yeah, that would probably get expensive.

Maybe it would be cheaper to stop pretending there is a right to a gun and just make sure that the people who buy they should have them.

There has been a lot of discussion about "Political Correctness" recently so I'd like to know what it is that you all feel political correctness is preventing you from doing. It has even been suggested that Political Correctness had done more harm than bigotry itself.

Somebody please explain how PC is "ruining our society" and what you think you can't do because of it.

Protect America from creeping Jihad.

It's happenoing before our eyes and also concealed from view.

And we are too P.C. to speak the truth about Islam and the threat it poses to freedom here and the world over.

Too many Americans still mistakenly believe Islam = Christianity. And too many Americans still mistakenly believe Islam = Judaism.

They are wrong and yet, the P.C. media prevents that message being expressed with strength and unanimity so that no one would misunderstand.

And some folks give greater deference to Muslim sensitivities & sensibilities than to the concerns of those of the followers of the now peaceful, un-aggressive, non-threatening religions.

P.C. will be at least an indirect cause of the downfall of America. And it may even be a direct cause.

Time will tell.

Oh, and we certainly have P.C. to thank, in part, for Obama.

Ok I see what you are doing. A few people take exception with something and because those people both believe the same thing you contend that they are "organized" ohhh scary word. Everything that involves more than one person is organized.

But where is this GOVT STOPPING PEOPLE FROM SAYING WHAT THEY WANT TO? Where is that. All you've shown is that someone had a problem with what someone else said (LIKE OMG THAT NEVER HAPPENS) and the ACLU (WHO THE RIGHT HATES BTW) came to defend them. Great! Thats Awesome! The system works.

BTW the RULES are developed and approved by the board. You are pretending that whenever something happens, like a student getting suspended for Anti-NRA messages (which is weird because you continue to claim that this is "the left". But this example shows support for the NRA but hey...you just deliver talking points, youre not in the business of making sense) You pretend the board reviews all actions and approves them once they've occured.

They dont...stop it.

where is this GOVT STOPPING PEOPLE FROM SAYING WHAT THEY WANT TO? You keep talking and talking but you havent shown that. I gave you a chance but here is an example of violating someones 1st amendment rights.

Ready? During the Bush years protesters where only allowed in "free speech zones". Which is the govt DIRECTLY RESTRICTING someones 1st amendment rights. Remember when the republicans made a HUGE DEAL about it? No. Thats because these constitution waving phoneys SUPPORTED violating free speech.

How late you wanna work tonight denier? Tell me when we can move on to touching or banned speech...

I'd just like to thank you for pointing out all the good the ACLU is doing. Maybe you can talk to your Right wing buddies who hate the ACLU and let them know.

Also, the stuff bolded. The Right wing would never support because....free speech is only good for THEIR religion. Oh and "the left" even defended students wearing t-shirts that say "Islam is the Devil".

Talk about intolerant. :doubt:

All you needed to post was:

“I have an unwarranted and baseless fear and hatred of Muslims.”

It would have saved you a lot of needless typing.

Let me just recap:

The leftist organization known as the ACLU is fighting for peoples right to free speech and Flacalten is using that as PROOF that the left wants to stomp on free speech rights.

You really cannot make this shit up
