Many factors can make "middle class" people poor:

Death of a spouse,
Medical bills,
Other personal catastrophe,
Having kids and no husband,
Not having a job,

We've been doing that. We have the most expensive education system in the world. We have the most health care in the world. We have more low cost housing projects, than any other nation in the world.

If your policies worked, we shouldn't have a single poor person left.

But see, when I look at Europe, and the most recently France, this system of attacking the rich, under the theory it helps the poor..... doesn't play out.
